MK SME Markets - Vabukori 2021

What a wonderful journey we have been taking through the traditional villages of NCDs Moresby South. Vabukori was the latest in a series of SME development opportunities and it was one of the most fun days out that could have been had this year.
With the wonderful work of MK Women's Associations and the combined support from the local Police Station to provide safe parking and stop checks on all entering the village, the village was flooded with tourists from all over Port Moresby that took the opportunity to visit and learn about one of the cities original villages that is now venturing into modern business whilst celebrating their traditional and cultural roots.
The local businesses thriving on fishing are also preparing for tourism business, with day trips to Manubada soon to be launched; a day out with string-band and seafood BBQ. Watch this space for that fun seascape adventure brought to you by the people of Vabukori.
