The Ks1 is nice, does the vshape well , vocals too recessed for me but for $20 its definitely a banger. I just picked up your Rec'd TC-01s and i'm loving them over the blon 03s man. Keep it up man

Yes, great video as always. While we’re not talking super hi-fidelity, they have their place, and as you say, for $19, it’s a GREAT SET and fun to listen to. I purchased two just to have an extra or give away to get someone in the hobby.
Interesting application. Due to the bass elevation (higher than my preference) was using these to cut the yard last weekend, and WOW, perfect! The elevated bass becomes very natural with serious outside noise. By no means am I downing this set as the SLAM blows my mind - what these things can do is pretty dam amazing for $19.

Love the KZ DQ6, love the KBear KS1. IEMs for the people. Budget sets mean a lot for those with less free money and as you proved, by supporting the Blon 03, they can give a lot of joy to lot's of people.
Can you tell me how good is DQ6 compared to KS1? I already have KS1. Is it still worth it to purchase DQ6? I'm in really tight budget and saving to purchase CCA C12

When a $20 set is better than some pricey IEMs that have wonky tuning like the Fearless ACME 10.
Kbear has been rolling with very solid releases, they have the BElieve, Tri Starsea (Tri is apparently a Kbear sub brand) and the KS1
Super budget IEMs that push beyond their price deserve more attention IMO, expensive flagships are cool but obviously not everyone has 1k-2k to blow on IEMs.
With the slew of budget releases out there, you'd expect 1-3 to be good and the remaining be trash. All you need is a sprinkle of that BLON-03 luck and you have a classic!

What is that app that you listen to music on?
Got these about a month or so ago around release for 14$ because of a promo from an Aliexpress shop. I probably was expecting to much from them initially and I was probably to mean to then.
These are pretty bassy so I don't bust these out much, but they are fun with techno music and types of electronic and vaporwave music. An album that's pretty neat to test on these is Geogaddi by Boards Of Canada because the entire album reminds me of old warm synthesizers from a school music room, and it's got those VHS soundtrack vibes to it. It's like a creepy atmosphere, but the way the album is mixed feels like it's creeping in and out of your ear. On the Ks1s, it's like warm fluid. Fun album to test IEMs with just because it's interesting how all the synths pan left and right and in and out.

You should compare these with the KS2, they're identical in build but the KS2 has an extra BA where as the KS1 has 1 DD.
So, is the BLON BL-03 still relevant? Is that gonna stay in this tier? Will that be the Gold Standard of budget list?

I like how you said in big boi - kill Jill look at the 3rd bass note... If it's present, just making sound, or if there's energy behind it, that's your baseline for bass.
I'd like to see that for cymbal strike attack decay etc from your point of view.

This sounds a lot better if I put two layers of toilet better on top of nozzle. Otherwise treble is piercing. Great bass by the way.
A lot of the music in my library has forward female vocals, but most IEMs are fatiguing when mid-high focused, any tips? Should I just get bass focused IEMs and let the tuning take care of the treble peaks?
Try sets like Sony N3AP Warm tilt with less gain. otherway is to focus on DD sets. BA drivers are harsh compared to DD in treble...to my ears.

Still worth to spend upgrades for BLON BL03....recently bought KBear Limpid pro pure silver cable...excellent output improvement..clarity...lifted slight veil etc. Bass becomes less muddy more musical overall. Well worth money ofcourse little expensive. Works quiet well with warm DAP like Zishan dsd.
