The Good Luck Continues!! Rare 50p Coin Hunt #2

Today we are hunting for rare and valuable commemorative coins, we are hunting through a big bag of £250, direct from the Bank!
We are hunting for new coins from the UK to add to our collection of 50p coins.
We are hoping to find all of the Beatrix Potter coins (including Jemima Puddleduck, Peter Rabbit and Flopsy Bunny), all of the Paddington Bear coins, the very rare Olympic coins, including the football 50p (offside rule) and Triathlon and Judo, perhaps one day we might even find a 'lines over the face' Aquatics! We are, of course, also looking for the rarest 50p of them all, the 2009 Kew Gardens 50p Coin.
We also collect coins from the British territories; Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar, Falkland Islands, Isle of Man or even St Helena!

I like seeing the coin up close. Is it easier just to hold it closer to the screen? Anyhoo, book coming along nicely. 2 tricky-to-find Olympics ticked off.

Sweet another couple Olympics for the book plus a few others I personally enjoy the zoom as I don’t get those coins in the USA and I could see the designs better I even liked the super zoom 🤩 great hunt lafta you’ll hit 10k in no time. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼

Which design is it? If it's a UK design then it's probably fake. If it's a territory coin then they don't tend to have edge inscriptions.

I've found absolutely loadsa 2017 sheilds think I have about £33s worth I've 🏦 probably £50 in 2008 Britannias 😮😊

I'd be happy with an Olympic but I do like both the P. Rabbit & TOG.
I can't get coins from local banks & only 1 or the 2 PO & it depends what surplus they have can be as low as £100 or rarely £200 of 50p & £2

Very nice Olympic double, I like the Pentathlon design, plus a decent TOG. Picture quality was ideal, and never mind about the glitch in accidentally stopping the recording, as I've just done a hunt where I hadn't cleared the storage fully, and halfway through my recording the camera stopped! 😂

Not sure what's changed chez LAFTA since the last season of hunts, but zooming in seems to mean the mike zooms away from your voice and the level drops notably. It's great for waking us up, but not much else...
