I have quite a few songs to fit the "Walk like a badass" idea. The best of them has to be Last in Line by DIO. It helps that it has that slow start to give it a dramatic set-up before the badass-walkin' commences.

*But* you love it?? I'm sure you mean no offense to Queen of Red Hot Chili Peppers. There's nothing wrong with being influenced by great artists, I only consider it plagiarism if it is exactly the same as the source material, and the artists never mention the who the artists were or what the song was of that source material. Muse is very open about artists that influenced them to make certain songs. You can look up Muse Deezer Closeup on youtube to see the best example of this, where they make a full playlist of their own creations that stood out to them, and songs that influenced them. Unlike Led Zeppelin, if you look up Taurus by Spirit, you'll hear the strings, the guitar chords are the same as Stairway to Heaven, and Taurus came out first, Led Zeppelin changed it up a little bit sure, BUT Spirit used to open up for them at live gigs, AND nobody in the band has ever given a single honorable mention to them, even though they influenced them to make their most famous and iconic song.

If you're new to Muse and you like these songs, do yourself a favour and go check out their earlier albums, especially Origin of Symmetry. Personally I think Muse's last two albums have been really lackluster in comparison, particularly in the lyrical quality.
***** Well a lot of the songs in the new albums are just starting to turn into pop music. Take Madness for example, it has Bellamy doing all those vocal lines that some stupid artist like Rihanna would sing, where it just exists solely to show off his voice and not to add anything to the song. In my opinion the lyrical quality is also a direct result of Muse becoming a pop band - the lyrics, especially from songs like Survival and Follow Me, are now so bland and disconnected from each other (by which I mean that each phrase looks like it was written separately from all the other phrases, meaning that they have no 'follow-on' or alignment). I just listened the the Globalist and I was instantly met with "You were never truly loved - you were only betrayed". Looks like a shit song to me. Then he just randomly throws in a reference to "Church State" which makes no sense. Gotta say though, the heavy instrumental section in it was great - nice 6/8 timing and modal guitar lines. Good to see Bellamy getting back on the piano again. Aaaand now he's singing "it'ss you and meee babe". Shitty pop lyrics again. But at least some of those lyrics got better and started to talk about interesting topics like the downfall of Western utopias. Aaaand then it goes back to talking about love "I just wanted, I just needed to be loved"... Sigh.
***** Was listening to someone's youtube playlist - ended up on this one and saw that everyone was praising this as Muse's best work, despite the fact that they had never even heard of Origin Of Symmetry of Showbiz...
Matilda Jones But the lyrics... "A fucking psycho... A fucking psycho... A fucking psycho" "I'll turn you into a super-drone" I like the music on the new albums, but the lyrics are just so poor - they completely ruin the experience, especially if you like to sing along to those songs because you have to actually acknowledge the words and be constantly reminded of how little effort went into writing them.
+Prof. Plump I hate to sound superficial but a song is like a woman. The melody is her appearance and the lyrics is her personality. If you're just looking for some 'fun'; with her, personality is not that important. If she's super hot, who cares what her personality is like? However, if you want to fully appreciate her as a partner, long-term, then both are very important.
