Just a tip: WD40 When applied to certain types of plastic or rubber, WD40 will slowly disintegrate and discolor the exposed surface. If left for a prolonged period, WD40 may begin breaking down the chemical structure. Crystalline plastics are generally safe, while amorphous plastics are not. Maybe try Houdini Lock Lube.
