As a collector of vintage Macs, I love the return to colorful Macs and I am looking forward to being able to buy these semi-cheaply in 10 years or so. It doesn’t really fit my needs as a main computer though - maybe the rumored Mac Pro mini will?
Interesting fact.. the CPU power difference really is staggering... from the research I did, the difference is 21,000 times the operations per second. The G3 750 was capable of 525 MIPS, the M1 is estimate at 11,000,000 MIPS (11 TIPS)!!!

The popping sounds on any crts are a failing flyback transformer, not the most difficult repair but quite the dangerous one if you want to fix it!

I don't like that white screen bezel/border on the M1. It was perfect on the G3, but doesn't fit on the new one somehow.
