The book was amazing and honestly the movie also did it some justice as well- too bad both are underrated and barely spoken of. Wonderful pieces of work.

Funny how the movie try to show the audience a bright side of life and life appreciation yet the author of the movie committed suicide by jumping off a building.

I haven't watched the movie, but the book is amazing. I kind of wish depression wasn't as romanticized as it was in the book, but I thought it was an amazing story nonetheless. Highly recommend it
TØP Obsessed it wasn't revolving around the romance. It was sort of a subplot, and he learns to accept himself before he starts going on dates with Noel.

I guess I need to read the book, because the movie I keep coming back to for solace in my life to remember to back off and breathe.... Damn can life ever get too god damn intense. And right when you think it's good, you get married and go for more ambitions in your career and then its gets shot into a paint shaker and you're in another oh my god moment. this movie and this song all have great impact in my life. thanks everyone involved.

it's kind of a funny story isn't very funny lol
This character Craig is so weak. I went to the same situation as him, and I was waaayy worse. He gets "clinically depressed" for weak reasons. Ok, in the book he says something like this, "120/70, the first time I'm not perfect." Bitch, seriously? My vitals were 100 or even 90/53. I think that the author sugarcoated this character way too much.

+JCV I'm not saying that. I myself have this depression all the time, but this book so sugarcoats a lot of things - a lot of things people have to go through.
