Ken, even better than a “veggie burger,” Shake Shack Toronto offers the vegetarian cheese stuffed Portobello Mushroom burger.
(If you get on their mailing list they send you “secret codes” good for free food items or shakes fairly often.)
Ad copy :: “The vegetarian options at Shake Shack in Toronto are unique and distinct from other locations. The 'Shroom Burger, a battered portobello mushroom filled with melted cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce, is a notable vegetarian option that stands out from other vegetarian burgers that often imitate meat. They may have been sold out on opening day, but this is a regular item.
