  • Jupiter is a gigantic planet on it's own, being the largest in the Solar System, but amazingly there are many planets outside of the solar system that is exoplanets, that are much bigger than that. In this video i take a look at the largest and most interesting exoplanets.

    I know this has nothing to do with the video, but hear me out. Why does everybody assume all life needs oxygen and water to survive. Our needs for life may be different than an alien species needs for life. So, somewhere in the universe/ universes there may be a different kind of life that we cannot comprehend. It maybe in a alternate dimension or in ours, but it’s just a theory.

    • @ThomasBob
      @ThomasBob 5 лет назад

      We've looked into that. That's why some suspect that there is life on Saturn's Moon Titan.

    • @darth856
      @darth856 4 года назад

      Oxygen may very well not be needed. We have life even here on Earth that does not require oxygen. But when it comes to water, there are few liquids that are better suited for the task. I guess theoretically one can imagine for instance methane-based life (on Titan and elsewhere). But methane is only liquid at very low temperatures, so any such lifeforms (if they exist) would be bound to be more rare.
