If you don't want to rip your finger apart, use a pair of pliers in the finger holes. Easier to pull it off that way, too.

This didn't work for mine. Push in and then lift and it would not open for anything. Smashed the living shit out of it and still wouldn't open.

Crazy .... maybe they have mad this construction even worse in the meantime, but as far as I remember, somebody just recently confirmed that it was working lik in the video ... strange
