The Vedas alone is the key for India to free itself from the chains of idol worship. The Mahabharata, Upanishads, and Ramayana do not have the same meaning as the Vedas and are ripe with idol worship and human worship. The Vedas, in Truth, is the worship of life/nature/energy. There is no statues in the True Vedic concept. I am Brahmin and was raided culturally Hindu, but it wasn't until I started reading and researching the Vedas that I came to realize how different Hinduism was from it.
