What I don’t get is. Is wouldn’t the real Matthew have screwed everything up once he returned back to Europe after the future diana and future Matthew went back to 2019 or do u think the last time witches put a spell on the past matthew and did something to make others forget the future couple was ever there as if it was like nothing ever happened. At all.
Philippe took care of it. Friends and servants were swear to silence. Kit was murdered soon after, Louisa was send to another country by Philippe as well as past Matthew. A lot of shit happened so it sort of covered and hidden events of S2 from history
From what i understand they were destined to be there in first place so its a loop, all that happened in the past had already happened including they being there but it could only come together once they reached the exact moment in time to go there and thn come back, exactly why the prophecy existed for so long
Its called Discovery of Witches and its about a society where witches demons and vampires made an alliance to keep themselves spearated from humans, creatures are ruled by a council and must not engage among species including a creature with another creature of different kind, but over time magic getting weaker and so is their essence which has become a huge issue. Diana Bishop the main character is a witch that has no reliant power, it seems she cant control it at all, she was raised by her aunties since she lost her parents, but struggles to fit among the witches so she lives almost like a human researching in university. In parallel theres Matthew Clairmont a centuries old vampire that researches on creatures blood with his family, the Clairmont is one of the oldest vampire families of Europe and they have great influence over other creatures and specially the Vampires, but Matthew himself is not very interested in power, he seeks an answer to a disease that affects vampires and specially his blood line, which causes vampires to have blood lust and go on killing spreads, vampires with that are also killed by the council to protect their secret. The story starts with Diana and Matthew crossing paths in the university and with Diana finding a grimoire that is no regular one, its a book called the book of life which holds the story of the birth of creatures and its said to be able to both save or destroy them, the book itself is even made out of creatures skin. Obviously everyone is looking for that book for different reasons, mostly for power, so from their own Matthew and Diana get tangled since she is the only one connected to the book and Matthew wants to help cure the creatures, Diana also starts finding stuff about her past and powers nature and that nothing about her life was like she believed. Its a really good saga and theres another one calle All souls from the same author.
