I have never seen a small truck mounted blower with drum rotation to maximize throwing distance and increasing throughput. Drum rotation is a feature usually reserved for very large semi-industrial and industrial blowers.

There is a flap that allows you to blow right out the side of the fan housing for less restriction and more distance. They are called 'side discharge' or 'side chute' blowers.
