They need to do the drainages,Sidewalks, bike lanes its soo much they need to do
Totally agree! Drainages and bike lanes should be given priority and make this upgrade even more impactful. Thanks for the continued support and sharing your thoughts! 🚴♂️🛠️
GREAT
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video. Stay tuned for more updates like this! 🚀
Good to see the work being done. This kind of work is done at night. they need to block access when carrying out work to ensure safety of pedestrians
Great point, Michael! Night work and proper safety measures are crucial for both efficiency and pedestrian safety. I guess most of the time, they are extra busy at night coz in the morning we always get some notable changes. Thanks for the support and sharing your thoughts! 🌙🛠️
this is what we need . and hawkers should be given there area of work
Absolutely, Daniel! Balancing development with livelihoods is key. Let’s hope for sustainable solutions for everyone. Thanks for the support and sharing your thoughts! 🌍✨
The Matatus is a must they have to move out of the CBD, either they like or not. Then only will Nairobi name will be restored to the city under the sun.
Hi Sunday! You’re right-organizing matatus is key to restoring Nairobi’s glory. It’s a tough but necessary step. Thanks for your support from UK and always being part of the Shifting News community! 🌞✨
Wow Nairobi is really changing day by day
It sure is! Exciting times ahead for the city. Thanks for watching and for your support-stay tuned for more updates! 🌆✨
Thanks for the update bro. I hope the county government continue repairing these roads in Nairobi county.
Appreciate you, bro! Nairobi’s development is a work in progress, and it’s exciting to see these changes. Let’s hope the momentum continues. Stay tuned for more updates! 🙌
Better late than never. Matatu must be dealt with too but this one needs a sustainable solution like having state-of-the-art bus stations before kicking them out of CBD. We can learn a lot from Tanzania on this. Even their small towns have properly organized bus stations. Time for BRT to also become a reality.
They already build that sonko time watu wakasema wataki kutembea long distances so i think its only enforcing law
@NerdNovaTech we can have bus stations outside the city then special buses run by the government moving within the city like the London buses now that we cannot have a light rail or trams within.
I hope matatus will not be allowed over there. It already looks better without them
The governor said matatus will be removed when BRT is implemented.
@ Yes this is great idea and then the start construction of underground metro system going all over Nairobi
Cabros should be displayed all over the city...Nms had started a very noble idea n I hope sakaja will borrow a leaf from the military, what they did for the city in a very short period of time
Hi Voke! Most streets are being upgraded with cabros. They definitely add a polished look to the city. Let’s hope the initiative picks up again across the whole city. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! 🚗✨
Good job showing us the latest happening in Nairobi. It seems you have changed your camera . Are you using a 360 camera which some people say lowers quality. The normal camera is much clearer. Thanks.
Thanks, Ian! We’re always working to improve our content. No 360 camera here-we are using GoPro 12. Appreciate your feedback and support! 📸✨
Lane markings please
You got it! Lane markings are definitely essential for safety and organization. At minute 01:18, they were doing the markings. And also at 18:15, we managed to be there in the evening at saw some markings. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! 🚦✨
Are they improving the sidewalks or the roads only?
Hi there! Right now, the focus seems to be on the service lanes and parking areas, which I think includes the sidewalks. Fingers crossed for more upgrades soon! Thanks for tuning in. 🚶♂️🛣️
Ruto tano tena good leader
Why is public allowed to walk on wet tar and littering is all over the new tar surely Ignorance is a big problem we have in our country Kenya.
unataka wapitie kwa hewa
unataka wapite wapi
@@geoffreymaithya254 🙄
@@geoffreymaithya254 I leave you to answer that question.
Great observation, mkuu! Also guilty here for doing the same hehehe. Public awareness and enforcement are key to maintaining these upgrades. Let’s hope for better practices moving forward. Thanks for your thoughtful comment! 🌍✨
What are those black and white metal pipes a long the road for? They are ugly and they make the walker ways more analog and local. Why don't we copy the likes of Capetown and Rabat in the way they structure their streets and wakerways. Nairobi street looks more African rather than Digital city especially the Horizontal infrastructure
Hi Tonny! Hope we have some of the concerned department read these unique comments -their design could be more modern. Cities like Cape Town and Rabat are great examples of how aesthetics and functionality can go hand in hand. Hopefully, Nairobi will catch up soon and become more innovative designs in the future. Thanks for your thoughtful comment-let’s keep the conversation going! 🌍✨
Wanasema sisi Bongo lala bt ipo siku
Bongo lala, lakini siku itafika (that's the catch)! Thanks for watching and for the support. Karibu tena! 🙌✨
Pavements are still in deplorable condition buana!
True, some of these pavements zinahitaji serious attention. Hopefully, they’re next on the list. Thanks for your support and for being part of the Shifting News community! 🚶♂️🛠️
The problem is that the road will be completed but no marking will be done. Itabaki kuwa shamba . 😎
This is very important.
Haha, true! Lane markings are ongoing. We’re hoping that the city’s plan includes clear and effective markings to avoid the “shamba” situation. Let’s hope they don’t skip that step. Thanks for the continued support and for watching! 😄🛣️
Good development, waiting to see how they finish it. They should just clean the pavements and avoid painting them white and black, that aesthetic just looks terrible after a few months.
Totally agree-clean, functional pavements are key, and sometimes less is more when it comes to aesthetics. Let’s hope they focus on durability and practicality. We’ll keep an eye on how the pavements hold up. Thanks for your support and for being part of the Shifting News community! 🚶♂️✨
