Another gem Gary. I have used some of these methods to switch & create desktops, but as usual, you expose even more helpful tips and methods of getting things done. Thank you.
Good lord man there’s a lot in there! This is one I’ll need to refer to often. I use MC just a tiny bit but now …. I am constantly amazed at what you know and present about Macs! Thank You!
Excellent tutorial. Learned a great deal from this video. I don’t recall any video from any channel that covered Mission Control in such detail. Many thanks!
Very useful. I guess I'll have to admit being a somewhat boring person. I hardly ever use Mission Control. But, I think I'll play around with it; today.
2:15 that doesn't seem to work with split screen does it? I think I have disabled something intentionally before. I'm watching this on iPhone, will check my MacBook later
A very interesting presentation. I confess to never using Mission Control as it seems far too complicated. So many ways to do things that could be useful but it’s impossible to remember them in the moment.
Mission Control made my life so much easier - I was wondering when you would get to just how handy it really is (and one of the tips was actually new to me.
Great video. Would've been better if you had changed the wallpapers on the new spaces to make a even easier to understand the demonstration : ) Would love to see a video for Stage Manger as well.
In previous OS I was able to change the background of each desktop for easy identification which desktop I am in. But it seemed impossible now with Sequoia?
Hello. Is it possible to keep mission control "static" on a second monitor? I would like it to work on one or the other monitor, not two at the same time.
@@macmost I'll try to explain. For example, on one monitor I have one desk with two programs on it. On the second monitor I also have one desk and two other programs. When I work on the first monitor and turn on mission control the windows slide open on that monitor, but the same thing happens on the second one, and I would like nothing to change there. Is that possible?
@@tomaszwojciechowski9659 Do you mean just for the few seconds you are using Mission Control? No. When you activate Mission Control it activates on both screens. But that shouldn't be a problem, right? You just use Mission Control on screen 1 to select a new space, and then that changes screen 1's space and screen 2's space remains the same.
Thanks Gary for the thorough coverage of Mission Control via another interesting and entertaining video. A trivial note … The Hot Corners allows for more than one corer to be set to Mission Control at the same time if desired. ie the setting is not restricted to one corner. When dragging and dropping, going to a Hot Corner to direct the payload works best for mine. Does anyone know how to keyboard select a mission control beyond Desktop 16? eg I have two displays (seperate spaces set) with 10 Mission Control Desktop / Spaces. How can I assign a key to select beyond the 16th. :-)
You forgot to mention that you can also change the wallpaper of each individual desktop space.
Thank you again and again for your awesome videos.
I have not been using Mission Control ....but NOW!!! I certainly will. I don't really need a second display after all.... Thanks
I knew and use daily some of this, but Gary, thanks as usual for the deep-dive lesson into ALL things desktop spaces/Mission Control can do!!

Thank you. I never knew about the making the little windows in Mission Control larger with space bar :)

You can certainly still do that.

Check System Settings, Desktop & Dock, Displays Have Separate Spaces.
@@macmost That's where I looked. Enable/disable ... doesn't matter, mission control turns on on both screens at the same time 😞
@@tomaszwojciechowski9659 So maybe I'm not understanding what you are trying to do.

Gary, trackpad or mouse? What's your preference?
I have a video that may help you with this:

I'm pretty sure you can't. I thought, according to Apple, you couldn't even have that many desktop spaces.
Very useful and informative video tutorial today! Thank you, Gary! 👏🏻❤️
I never understood the us for multiple desktops.
