- Siren 521F is located near Farnam & Harney Streets at Columbian Elementary School. This used to sound normal pitched but when they relocated it about 200 feet east, the power source changed, along with the pitch. Douglas County tests their sirens on the First Wednesday of the Month at 11 AM, March - October (Weather permitting)
Ow
Yeah it was a teeth clencher
Damn that is high pitched.
I can hear the control box click
Wow 🤩
Controller box was set to earape mode
Maybe higher voltage
Is this siren dented? It kinda looked like it was just hit with a rock when it rotated towards the camera.
Yes it is. It was most likely dropped during the relocation process and hammered back out.
Would be cool if they could upgrade there 2001s with equinox
They don't have a contract with Federal so they cannot. I'd rather see more 128s.
Or 508s.
Dying 2001 - 130 in Boys Town audible throughout the video, especially around the 1:42 mark.
Has that one been filmed
@@TheMatsushitaMan No sirens from the current system have been filmed in Boys Town yet. Only the past system of 3T22s which were removed in the end of August 2011.
@@natej4230 They were removed THAT long ago?
@@TheMatsushitaMan Yes they were. I didnt find out until January 2012 when I drove through just to be disappointed.
@@natej4230 I still remember watching their 3T22 ambience videos and I thought, there's no way time flew so fast
