I've been splitting Room 4 and 5 with
Room 4: Nightcrawler Gambit Sunspot Dazzler Forge
Room 5: Fantomx Sunfire Cyclops Omega Red Rogue
I usually get at least one dropped attack and both rooms scare my opponents into using some of their best teams
The first team is all about dodges, so Nightcrawler and Dazzler help there, plus the invisibility forces them to juggle who they're attacking
The second one also forces them to juggle between taunts from Fantomx and Rogue, and they don't know who to focus on. If they wait too long, Cyclops gets his Offense-Up Ult, but Omega Red and Rogue also have some devastating moves
I've also been using Weapon X to counter pure Xtreme teams in War, and since Gambit is the only one who gets a Crucible bonus I might take Omega Red out and test that same counter.
Extreme x men are a great team but we also have to take into account your team is full g18 which is another reason for all their success shown here. Most teams that face them will not be as maxed out. Most people will not have them all at g18
I mean this is Crucible, you're going to be using your best characters. You can just scale this back if you're not playing towards the top and a G16 extreme x-men is still going to be very strong if you're going up against other people who are averaging this kind of roster.
Crucible is naturally a roster flex so what am I going to do about my own roster? I routinely fight G18s across the board lol.
True, I have the resources to G18 Sunspot and Forge. Nightclawer and Cyclops though i don't have the resources yet at all and NC will be the last to hit G18 if I ever did. Also, i need like 100 million to invest in 4 different toons. Mines all lvl 65 except Gambit of course because I was working on DD6 and Skrull which I am done with. Nothing holding me back now but it takes time to level toons. I only invest 800k a day into one toon to manage resources or go poor
Going forward, they need to start making these teams "On Offense" for a majority of their abilities. Mid-game doesn't even get Diamond Dawn orbs and still have to deal with this Crucible defense crap... and that's on top of punching up 10m TCP on a routine basis🎉.
I mean a lot of that is intentional. The gap between 'F2P' and krakens have been widening and this is what they want. So sadly I don't see this part of things getting better, that's the nature of PvP.
Here's hoping that Red Goblin can turn around Hive Mind. It's looking like a bad team.
I switch up the X-Men alot based on when I get the rest of the team unlocked. They've been good at wasting efficiency overall. And taking out at least two Sup6 members before dyiinng. Today will be my first time with Forge on the team
I defeated Xtreme Xmen with Super Skrull in room 5 today with 7956 points. I used a tech sac, but they all dodged the Minerva ult so there was only the exhaustion status. Went back with full g18 Superior 6 and won but it wasn't super clean.
Usually for that defense, either my opponent would use s6 + skrull and win with 8361. I've use s6 + skrull before but instead of the opponent using forge, they used dorm and skrull ability blocked my skrull, and it went south, and had to cancel.
I had the same team I switched lizard for vulture my 1.90mil team rolled over them
Sunspot charges make it harder to 2 tap or 3 tap this team.. they deadass get harder the more you fail against that fucking team...
To answer the question if you should drop rogue.. yes!! The full team is a fucking problem!! Lol then you can take the rest of unlimited and throw them on defense with rulk or dorm. But yeah sunspot charges giving energy when they spawn back in with offense up and now extra damage from sunspot charges. And forge doing heals and giving charges. Cyclops always opening with his ultimate. Them 3 together is crazy!! But if you wanted someone gone for rogue it would Most likely be cyclops. But the full xtreme team is the best option. Super broken team..
I don’t have Super Skrull, other than Gambit and Rogue, I don’t have characters at gt18. So… nope.
no SuS or Apoc when attacking SuS? no wonder he lost that one
Sadly this defense is pretty bad, as it can be one-shot with G17+ Doom... Also, Rogue seems to be worse than both Cyclops and Sunspot, but doesn't change the fact that this team is an easy one-shot with a decent Doom :/ Skrull simply counters Sup6 entirely, and people were used to doing Sup6 vs XXmen teams.
I’ve never seen Cyclops do anything on defense. He gets completely ignored and just dies from things happening around him before he gets a turn.
Rogue can provide the brick wall to allow Nightcrawler and Gambit to hit their ultimates.
@jspettifer Have you faced a 2.2m xxmen? It's true for weaker teams, but with powerful teams, where you need to control gambino nc and forge, if he takes 2 turns you're kinda f'd, not to mention sunspot ult preps you perfectly for the blast
@@dementos_bg Not quite - had a 1.9 last week (some guy from Onslaught) and a 1.8 this week.
I’ve seen a lot big on RUclips and I don’t think I’ve seen Cyclops take a turn.
