I bought this kit in the mail and was looking for some clarification on whether the aluminum position plates went on top of the plastic plate or if the plastic plate had to be removed. This video was super helpful. I was shocked to see that I had even purchased the same gummy bear key caps you had! The only difference was I went with Glorious Panda switches. Super helpful video! Thx :)
i received my kit today and am really happy with what you get - its a good deal. they could market it more. i also bought the pegasus switches too although silent they have a tactile bump feeling. unsure if i will like them but otherwise happy to keep them on the wall as a display kb i reckon. im glad i didnt spend extra money to get an aluminium based kit as i feel although stronger quality its really the outside look, if u end up not liking later on then its just really hard to sell off afterwards. either way it is what is good about the kb hobby - preferences = more choices
Thank you! The silent one is impressive and the clacky one sounds really good. I was wondering about the programmable RGB, is the software for it really versatile, like can you program it to do whatever you want?
The RGB is not programable. I have the sn75 and the RGB is the usual chinesium built in RGB pre programmed stuff and can't do anything related to lighting on via besides another handful of RGB presets...
They may not be individually addressable, but they are programmable in terms of VIA being able to control the settings and adjust the macros. More than a handful of options. ...actually it's QMK so yes you should be able to program it however you like but, you're going to need to get your hands dirty.
Hi, thanks for video. Did you happened to weigh the board with the aluminum plate and all the keys/caps on? Would it be less than 700g? I'm looking to get one to carry around. Thanks!
@@getsmarthomeoffice does it connect instantaneously via 2.4ghz? I have a Gamakay GK75 and had a very bad wireless experience with it. The wireless connection is terrible, always gets disconnected and has some delay connecting to 2.4ghz.
Fantastic board. However, this really question my choice of the IDOBAO ID80 Crystal or even the KiiBoom Phantom 81 V2 75% I have seen recently. What is the catch here while same acrylic gasket mount keyboard that GK can sell for $70 and other are selling for more or less of $150? HOW GK?

How's the battery life of it?
Does this keyboard have music rhythm mode which can be enabled in software???
You need to check product description, I can’t recall

It’s not the best idea to carry aluminum keyboard :) I’m sure it’s more then 1kg
How's the battery life of this keyboard? And the 2.4ghz connectivity? Does it connect instantly?
it's all normal, nothing unexpected

I’m wondering how tactile switches would sound on top of the quiet, gasket-only board
it will be perfect :)
@@getsmarthomeoffice well that’s good then. I’m fairly certain I’m getting one of these boards. Gonna fill it w Akko lavender pros 😎

It’s all marketing, all these keyboards made on the same factory, just different quality controls and labels ;)
I am having such a hard time to change the rgb to a solid color, white in particular. Can you help?
Did you try this one “press Fn + Area Bar, then choose a colour from among the keys”?
Im building a keyboard that was ordered by a customer and the board doesnt work, so i got a replacement, the replacement also never fucking worked
What exactly doesn't work?
