Hey there, great tones! Which one would you say has the best master volume for quiet playing? And do you feel the 20w is lacking anything in comparison to the 100w? Thanks !
Nice that Little sister, I always wanted a pink taco. The Friedman amps are great I used to have a buxom betty and a be100 and I still regret selling my jmp years ago. If I had a bigger studio I would love to do tracking again but it would be a huge investment to get there again. I still get itchy when watching this 😊
Nice video man! Do you have any pedal recommendations for these amps? I have a Little Sister. Curious if you like certain boosts with these amps, or a tubescreamer etc?
The only booster pedal I have is an EP Booster from Exotic and it’s great! Although I feel all my amps and the Friedman sound great with out boosting. I also have a RYRA which is a Klon type clone which I like as well. That can be used as an extra boost too. If you can try an EP booster from exotic I’d say you might like that as it literally just push’s the amp and doesn’t add too much of its own character. Just makes it a tad more thick and harry. I’m not a big pedal guy although I do have a few. Thank you! Steve
@@RiotHomeRecordingthanks! Yeah I have the J Rocket Archer which is also a Klon clone. I think it works really well for a fairly “natural” sounding boost with some high mid push. I’m curious to try a treble booster with it
Absolutely LOVE that studio setup. This was a fun video to watch. Not sure this is a fair comparison though. Two different circuits. I've got the Little Sister and absolutely love it. When dialed in properly it has a very tight brown, uber-crunch tone (and with Legendary Tones Hot Mod it's even more spectacular). The JMP is a "hotter" amp. Best Marshall made IMHO. But, just very different than the JTM45 amp the LS is modeled after. But, that LS get's MUCH tighter if you pull the gain back a bit. Very fun video, though. Both amps sound great.
The Marshall sounds much better to my ears, the mids are perfect with the right break up in the 2204. The Friedman has a weird sonic mid signature that I can't unhear but wish I could where the mids don't break up the right way. I Tried a Pink Taco once and it was overly bright and thin sounding even into a 412 with the bass maxed out. The Little Sister sounds much better than the Pink Taco I tried but not as good as the 2204. I can see people being happy with the Little Sister though.
I do hear what you’re saying about the mids, but I think the difference in the mids of the little sister is what makes it blend so well with the Marshall. I will probably buy a little sister and some kind of orange amp as I do a lot of amp blending in the studio.

I’d like to hear the other Friedman amps as well. I like the little sister a lot!!!

Yeah I'm with you with distortion...clean on the verge of overdrive
It’s where the sweetness resides!
Great demo

💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Cool man
Thank you!
Little Sister sounds better in every aspect, record ready. The Marshall def needs a tube screamer and lots of pre-EQ.
Omg is this guy going to talk all day.
