You do realize that a lot of live guitarist make mistakes. It is just easier to hide behind a live band. When you are just playing solo guitar with a toned down backing track, your mistakes are more noticeable
Everyone talking about how sloppy he is in this video should probably think of how few youtube videos of him playing this live exist. Probably means he doesn't have the song completely memorized and timed.
I welcome anyone in the comments complaining that he missed a few chords to produce a better live version of it while wearing his full costume, mask and bucket included.
I'm a huge fan of the Bucket and an aspiring guitarist myself, but any competent guitarist can tell that this is pretty sloppy and can pick out quite a few mistakes. That being said, he probably hadn't warmed up prior to this and none of us mortals would ever be able to come close to possessing his amount of talent. All guitarists have bad guitar-days as I call them.
He's going from 0-60 mph in one second. That's one hellacious of a riff when the song starts. Just the tempo alone is awesome!!
