Im thinking of putting the scarf joint into the headstock and away from the neck side since I use hippie sandwich style top and bottom laminates on the headstock...do you see a strength disadvantage to that?
Are the carbatec bandsaws any good? I do find them on marketplace from time to time for good prices - recently there was one similar to yours but an older model for just 400$aud
I'm not sponsored by Carbatec, but I use their machines because they really are that good, and the after sales service is incredible. Those bandsaws are very pricey, but the peace of mind was worth it. Really solid machines.
@@TempleGuitars ive been to carbatec a few times in sydney and they are very nice guys , always helpful - there was one of those bandsaws recently for just 400aud on marketplace and was contemplating going for it but my workshop is a mess at the moment as im building new cabinets so i passed on it - are you located in NSW?
Great jigs, I would buy all of them
I will be offering flat pack jig kits in the near future, so please check back!
@@TempleGuitars I like the sound of that!
Paying the rent feels so good haha
Great video as usual 👍
Thank you for the support. Seriously.
2:52 "It's essential that you use exactly six clamps, or your jig will explode." PLEASE, for the love of rock & roll, make this a t-shirt. I love it!
I’m all about the pro tips!
Great vid.👍
And new subscriber wonn.
Greetings from Germany
Thanks for the sub! Hallo from Australia!

Hard to say without seeing it, but as long as you give yourself as much glueing surface as possible and don't over-clamp, you should be ok.

No mate, I'm down in Victoria.
Bro, have you ever considered doing meditation motivational readings on podcast?
Is there money in it? If so, sign me up!
@@TempleGuitars not sure man, the calm, measured and mellifluous tone you put out is soothing. I reckon you could make some bucks at it!
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Will!
Hahaha my wife walked in while I was watching this and asked "Is this like meditation for guitar builders?"...
You could be onto something!
I already have the guitar builder market pretty well covered... There's only so much I can do!
Here's number one of five thousand.......
Yay! Thanks for the support!
