About MLB.com:
Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced on January 19, 2000, that the 30 Major League club owners voted unanimously to centralize all of Baseball's internet operations into an independent technology company. Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the internet. I still remember most of these players. RIP Tony Gwynn.
R.I.P Kirby and Gywn!
The All-Star "break" that season was actually only 2 days - because of the strike schedule in 1995 there were games scheduled for the next day. As a result by the time this game ended several players had already flown out of Texas to get to where their team was playing the next day.
I was a huge Nomo's fan!! I went to watch him pitch in Dodger Stadium soo many times. ⚾⚾
Me too. He brought the crowds out
It was great to see the trio of Al Michaels, Tim McCarver and Jim Palmer on The Baseball Network on ABC back just briefly 1994-95 due to the baseball strike.
Thank you for putting this on here I was really looking forward to these amazing rosters
Montreal had such a stacked team in '94, only thing that was left was their training staff in '95. Sooo sad!
Yep...and the franchise folded 10 years after that due to lack of fan support. Hopefully, MLB isn't headed there again with the subpar off-season.
@@sldl04 you're obviously an idiot and know nothing about the history of baseball in montreal or the history of mlb. Ever heard of the new york giants brooklyn dodgers kansas city athletics milwaukee braves seattle pilots washington senators and the other washington senators
@@sldl04 They didn't fold, they moved to Washington.
Well don't give it away in the title
I would love to see Arlington host another ASG. Their new ballpark is awesome.

The players were so much cooler back then. Way more swag and just behaved like actual grown men.

It’s the National League vs the Cleveland Indians! 6 Indians on the roster. Gotta love it ! Go Tribe! Eddie Murray shoulda been on here. Even Though he was 40ish.

Why would you tell the score in the title? No need to watch it now...thanks for spoiling it
The last All-Star Game that would be held at the home of the Texas Rangers until 2024.
What the heck kind of stance was that by home plate umpire Durwood Merrill? That sure looked odd to me
Maybe some people watching don't want to know who won before watching.
