    Obviously Mecum doesn't employ any bike experts to authenticate potential inventory. That's called "Misrepresentation of sale". If you aren't given appropriate time to do your own due diligence with an expert, pass on the sale.

    • @kurtfoulke5130
      @kurtfoulke5130 4 месяца назад +33

      That's called Buyer Beware.
      If you are foolish enough to bid 13 grand on something that you know nothing about, you can't blame the auction.

    • @bernardowens1648
      @bernardowens1648 4 месяца назад +36

      @kurtfoulke5130 I can blame the auction because I spent 22 years working at one of the world's largest auto auction companies. That sort Bait and Switch isn't good business. The company I worked for didn't allow that sort of thing to happen. If a sale was made and it was proven the vehicle sold was "Misrepresented" at the time of sale the transaction would have been voided and proceeds returned to the buyer. That's just good business. You don't allow the good name of the company to be brought down over a few thousand dollars.

    I just want to let you know that I recently subscribed and have watched all your videos. I enjoy your content and as a new rider I have learned a lot from watching and picked up some good habits that may have saved my life. I was in an accident earlier today and came out with minor injuries thanks to some of the habits I have picked up from watching your videos. I see you put on a jacket and a helmet everytime you go out on the road and that has rubbed off on me so I started doing it as well. Also your faith in god has been a great inspiration that caused me to start praying and being thankful again more than I have been. Unfortunately my bike was totaled and it was a hit and run. A guy in a white work van ran a stop sign and I tried to avoid him but there wasn’t enough time to react. I hit his rear quarter panel at around 50mph and was thrown and rolled down the state route I was on. He never slowed down on checked to see if I was ok or even alive for that matter. The sheriff said the probably won’t be able to find him. So I ended up injured and without a bike. Gods hand must’ve been over me and kept me safe enough to limp away. Keep doing what you are doing it’s informational and inspiring to newer riders.

      thats because he was not the one who paid for it. you should always be concerned with what its worth when your the one flipping the bill. trust me even matt tries to not pay more than the value of the bike

    My guess is that it did work at one time, became unreliable after countless repairs, and then became a parts donor for the next bike, hence the oddball repairs and missing parts. That is a common theme you find, my friends.

    There was a little bit of ASMR in the sound of that engine and revenge it up I'm talking about the very first bike that they fired in the beginning of the video at 10:20 when they fired up the engine and that engine sounded pretty damn good and the little bit of ASMR was a nice touch I m3an at keast for me cause it triggered my ASMR and gave me the tingle sensation when listening to part kf the engine especially when he revved it up it really triggered my ASMR and I am so glad that I am a perrin that is able to experience ASMR because some ppl have it and some ppl don't have ASMR.
    I listen to ASMR every night to fall asleep.

    Isn't the Rajah jump seat for when you have a passenger? Certainly, that's what I've seen in photos with the rider forward on the jump and the passenger on the main seat.

    Modern motorcycles are too heavy. My 125 cc scooter weighs 225 pounds. The new Honda XR150L weighs 282 pounds. That 1000 cc HD that was bounced weighs about the same. Does all of the extra weight on modern motorcycles make them last longer?
    I had four different engine kits for a bicycle. The wheels were too weak. The mounts for the rear rack engines were too weak. The engines or transmissions always needed work. The bicycle probably rolled for 8000 miles at a cost of $2000. I probably could have bought a motor scooter for that much money and had almost zero problems with it.

    My grandpa owned his own body job and paint booth, he liked old stuff, he died in 2012 anyways in 2015 i went to alaska where his shop and property is, well i found a semi truck trailer fully loaded with with old model A parts and harley parts, 3 more trailers had multiple model As a frw conexes is loaded with copper wire and copper cables, still like 3 more trailers still there that i personally haven't went threw. I got a all original 57 4 door ford Fairlane. And a completely restored and updated modernized model A ford with key fob start, electric windows, my grandpa was a badass, but going threw stuff really opens my eyes how cool he was, ill fly back up there this summer to check it out again, everything is stored away. Safe and locked, he owns property right across the oil refinery, prime time reality that we will never sell, one day ill move there and build a home.
