I 100% agree. Soulmates don’t always have to be romantic, & I truly think Josh & Liza are meant to be in each others lives for good platonically. Charles & Liza are MEANT to be together. Josh is great but her chemistry with Charles just makes so much more sense, & not because of age.

I have to disagree - Charles is very much about his business & marrying him would be very much like her 1st marriage. Even thee same friends. As an even much older woman than Liza, Josh offers her his heart, all of himself. They belong together.

Awww this is so cute and beautiful 😍😍😍 I love a slow burning development, and theirs was one of the best. Not to mention the chemistry between the actors and the characters themselves. Hope that reality is kind to them. As much as I enjoyed watching them in their lovely bubble, I'd like to see them make work outside of it.

Here's the thing with Josh. He's wishy washy when she first told him about how she lied about her age he was upset and told her he didn't want to see her again but as soon as another man Charles becomes competition all of a sudden oh she maybe the one now I love Liza I want Liza. At his wedding he told her that he keeps coming back to her and he needs to let her go but then every opportunity the more Charles and Liza are growing as a couple the more Josh is becoming a threat and it's just not right. Liza needs to completely cut ties with Josh. Yes they have mutual friends and they will have to coexist and be civil but this back and forth stuff shouldn't be happening. I'm team Charles and I hope she says yes and her and him go off into the sunset.

I love the beautiful story that has been woven over so many seasons. They bring out the best in each other and are a perfect match. I love seeing both Liza and Charles be so happy after their disappointing marriages. Finding love later in life is very inspiring, getting a second act in life to start over together. Goodness, i love the way Charles carries himself. It's that gentleman appeal that i find extremely attractive...plus he's tall, has a great smile and that deep voice he has isn't bad either. Don't get me wrong Josh is very attractive as well and truly loves Liza but idk the love that Charles is extending to Liza i'm sorry i would not pass up. josh and liza's love yes it's real but it seems to be the kind of love that will always be family. Josh is family no question about that and i think thats what they need to be focusing on instead. Yes there's chemistry between them and that's ok but when you love someone you just want the best for them and imo Charles is best for Liz(relationship wise).
It just feels like in the beginning Josh was good for her because she was pretending to be younger and now that she has her job now and met Charles she can be herself and that's more attractive and she shows her true self to him because they are the same age. Charles has that classic Hollywood star from the 50s look tall handsome sexy eyes smile just the perfect package while Josh he is young and still fiquring things out and ends up with a baby by somebody else.
I adore this couple. When more I get to know about Charles more I love him. He isn't perfect but for me he is. And when Lisa and Charles are together they are amazing.
I hate that everyone says Charles is the safe choice. Have we not been watching the same show? They’ve both risked so much to be together. Charles is Liza’s Mr. Big. Charles and Liza aren’t just based on lust - they get each other on a deep, emotional, intellectual level. They’re perfect halves. We haven’t watched the buildup of this relationship for the last 5 seasons to have them completely eradicate those feelings in this past season. So out of character.

She lied about her age to get a job and she ended up getting not only a job but a man that loves her unconditionally. It's funny how life works. She came on the scene as a wife who was separated from her husband. He left her for a younger woman. Now she has two men who are in love with her and her ex husband claim to want her back now. It's funny how men want you back when they see you have moved on and someone else wants you.
I know right!!! It was so hard for them to get together so many obstacles in the way, I know Josh had his plus points too that changed Liza and motivated her in a way. But Charles... he’s the whole package for me

I really like Liza and Charles. They’d have this adorable modern family with his kids and her daughter, but this whole show began with Josh, and it would feel totally right with end with Josh. If it did, they would also have a modern family with Josh’s baby and Liza’s daughter. This is hard man. I don’t know which team I root for. They’re both too amazing.

Shout out to Charles Brooks, for basically from the very beginning being very straightforward with Liza about his feelings for her, for telling her always he liked her, and proving it in his silent actions, his feelings for her were always there, that no matter Pauline coming back he always made sure to tell Liza, that she was the one he was focused on, never did he wavered. He could have been standoffish because his wife left him, and yet he was willing to be open with Liza about his feelings from the beginning when they weren't anything. He always respected and treated Liza like an equal from the beginning. Charles is not the safe choice at all, Josh is the safe choice.
This was such a great love story built up over seasons. I am watching this series for the second time and every time I watch the sixth season I can't believe what has been done to them by the writers of the series. Josh being pushed as romantic - but he is always making her feel terrible about herself, and that she lied and brings it up to make her do things for him all the time. If that is really the endgame here it is pretty sad to say that this is what a confident 40 year old woman should want, a man telling her what she wants and feels. The reason I liked this couple (Liza and Charles) is they always seemed to balance each other with their intellect, physical chemistry, and their fun and awkward dorkiness in all these moments in this compilation. Yes, I say that because this is what made them great. They weren't perfect and "hot specimens" like Josh is made out to be, although they are both attractive actors. Josh was so "fun" but really if you rewatch, Liza never actually enjoyed any of that and I simply do not get it why he is being pushed by writers through her friends and her wishy washy attitude this whole past season. Yes, Josh is "younger" but really the age doesn't matter if you are just pretending with someone. That's' what I see her doing with Josh. Liza/Charles were written brilliantly and I'm sorry to say it has been really messed up.

I am 100% Team Charles. Liza and Charles have such chemistry. I didn’t feel she had that long-lasting all-encompassing chemistry with Josh. Aside from the forbidden workplace romance and the storyline that he’d prefer to be with a 26- or 27-year old, I hope they end up together. This Series is exemplary ( age doesn’t matter when it comes to love). It’s sequences, depicting facts of life, morality etc., it’s dramatic, hilarious and oozing with romance. The Cast; each Character portrayed a brilliant performance. It’s absorbing for me, it has wee bit relevance w/mine.
I’m in my 60’s, more often than not, admired by younger Guys. I got Manuscripts, never made it to the Publisher, that’s d big difference!

They’re already screwing up Season 6 by 😡 causing unnecessary tension & trying to break them up like their relationship is awkward & not real which is off brand & character for both of them. Cos what they have is deep intense & meaningful & that’s what was building up for all these seasons.

I have to say, by the end of last season I couldn't remember for anything why I rooted for this relationship. I love Liza but she is showing that she needs time to herself to figure out what she wants. Because while I understand that you could love two persons at the same time, her decision making or better yet, lack off, are a very big turn off for me.
Well fiquring out who she should be with is the last of her worries because of her lie the company is in jeopardy. They ended season 6 with Charles proposing and so we gotta get her answer. Also, Millennial is losing clients. They are walking away going to other companies because of the deceit so it's a bumpy ride no matter what
I am think on doing exactly what she did! I’m 59 and actually I don’t look as a 59 years old woman. I’m need a job and all my younger colleagues who are on they forty’s are getting selected . It is amazing how the HR department judge you base on your age.

Liza came out of a long marriage, she got into her relationship with josh too quickly but you could tell she loved him. Charles is the safe option, he is who she should be with, life would easier with him hence why she cheated.

Here's the thing though she and Josh weren't together exclusively. They were trying to work on the relationship but Charles was fair game. Liza said her and Josh were working things out and she told Charles the same thing before she kissed him. She shouldn't be upset that Josh is upset about seeing her kiss Charles because remember Josh one week needs space and the next he wants Liza so he really don't know what he wants where Charles has falling in love with Liza it's just he is her boss and still legally married and that's what makes the situation difficult on his part
A lot of people always ship Liza/Josh. Not a lot of people are a fan of Charles/Liza.. but for me, Josh is that fun guy that you do fall in love with challenge you, but to learn about yourself. Once you have, Charles is that guy you want in your life to evolve with. Others may say Charles is boring, but I want someone who wouldn’t want treat our relationship like a game of ping-pong

I felt like from day one that Liza and Charles were perfect for each other... but the way season 6 ended I feel like the show is going to push Liza and Josh together. :(:(:( Don't get me wrong! I loved her and josh together but like Liza said, they were a moment in time. Charles is endgame on sooooo many levels.

I couldn't agree more. Charles can offer support, love and care to Liza and loves her as a man to women. Josh can just offer the complicity of a play colleague in entertainment with Liza; he hasn't neither resiliance nor compassion with Liza's circumstances as an divorced Women. He is mean to Liza very often and plays with the good intentions and Liza's honesty. He doesn't show any sense of being happy for Liza's new love as the other way round always Liza with Josh's girlfriends and wife did. Liza doesn't want Josh for life , she has fun with him but nothing more.
