I could not believe my eyes! Although it was just for a split second, I'm so delighted to know that string bag ratings ARE BACK! 😆
I think this boot really improved in cornering, mainly because of the stud pattern and the zoom unit because it springs down when stepping giving u a lower center of gravity and car people know that lower center of gravity gives better cornering and the fact that it's lighter means it could be a bit snappier. Just my thoughts though.
Great to see both Adi and Nike at the pinnacle of innovation, both carbitex and air zoom is some seriously well designed and implemented tech

This boot is definitely one I will be picking up for fall season. Love the videos keep up the hard work.
It was between the Mercurial Vapor and the Legend Tiempos. I absolutely loved the additional padding/cushion for high touch points on the boot for the tiempos. However, I felt the tiempos were ever so slightly more narrow/tight. The Mercurial Vapors were SUPER comfortable, to the point where I was shocked. It doesn't have additional padding or much protection vs the Tiempos. However, the comfort factor was enough for me to go with the Mercurials.

I feel like this is what the phantom GT should’ve been, a softer less aggressive Mercurial. They really veered off where they were heading w/ the mercurial with this one.
Mercurial is narrow as fu*k man! I have these boots, the forefoot is really narrow, the toe - box is narrow the overall fit is weird, I donno the heel area is Shallow, and the studs are literally 2mm longer than any other boots, but.... The lockdown is great, the touch on the ball is Barefoot and comfy. Overall, good boot snug and comfortable fit.

Just hopped back on the channel and after 4 years…you have still stayed true!
Been watching this dude for 8-9 years and if anything easily the only channel I can watch on a daily basis. He’s grown well and his channel grew but he have stayed true to his formula by just making subtle changes

That mesh upper with a speed cage below it seems to be ‘borrowed’ from the Puma Ultra 1.3/1.4 formula. Even the upper material looks a bit similar.
Hi Josh, can you please review the new german brand imotana? They claim to produce custom fit boots for everybody and this sounds pretty interesting to me 🤔
They need to go back to the upper that was used for the mercurial 13!! hugged the toe/metatarsal area so much better !
In other words, they have a proper answer to Adida's carbitex now that is proprietary and well-executed. Sick!
I recently purchased a pair of Vapor 15 Elite and have encountered a problem. The collar is too wide and playing on synthetic is a problem since rubber pellets get in.
Have any of you experienced the same problem ?

Thanks Josh for another awesome review. I have a question about fit. Your buddy Jay Mike said that the toe box is a bit higher and more roomy (which I like because of my big toes). So I just wanted to know if you notice the same thing. I've worn Vapors before and they fit nicely after broken in. By the way, I've been a fan for years and glad that your channel is still growing nicely. Keep up the great work!

Do you think the AG version will be as revolutionary AND feel the same as the FG version?
And will the ag stud pattern be the same?
Haven't watched the video but the ag stud pattern is probably gonna be the same as it is on the current tiempo and gt2.

The ag sole plate wil also have zoom. They are also reverting back to the ag plate

Even though I’ll probably end up getting the elites I’m very excited to see what the pro model is like. Should they be of simmilar performance I might just go and save a couple bucks

@@spade6240 if they are the same as the youth pro model its still pretty thin, just a lil more break in time i would assume, not too sure if pros will have zoom air since youth sizes were never going to get it in any tier regardless

I think Nike lost a chance with this vapor without making it different from the superfly, except for the sock. I thought they could reintroduce the stand alone tongue as they did with the zoom ultra prototype

I mean yeah, the only difference between the two is the collar. Which most people would prefer the Superfly
I don’t see a problem with it I like the socklike tongue without being blistered by the collar
I would have liked if they just kept the updated Vaporposite upper on the Vapor while superfly have full flyknit. Stand alone tongue would be awesome tho but then Nike wouldn’t do it cuz they’ll say it’s obsolete

Hey Josh I don't know if you have access to a decathlon store. If you do it would be really interesting if you could test a few pairs of their in house football boot brand KIPSTA. If I remember correctly you already tested Walmart as well as Sports Direct (Sondico) football boots and I enjoyed both videos.
While the quality of those brands was not on par with products from the main sportwear giants, I am quite optimistic with decathlon.
They tend to use latest tech in their products while offering them for half the price. I haven't tried their footballboots yet, but I have tried the top end products of their in house tennis (Artengo) as well as padel tennis (Kuikma) lines. For those sports at least in my opinion there is nothing better in terms of value for money. I also heard positive reviews about their in house bicycle brands.

Maybe the tech is cool but Something about it just doesnt sit right with me. I'm usually the 1st to get the new boots as i'm a Superfly/Merc fanatic but I think i'll stick to the superfly 8.

Do you think the takedowns will have the Air Zoom technology (Club, Academy, Pro)? If they don't, the AIR decal on the side would be a bit of odd on the shoe
they definitely won't have the technology but I'm guessing they'll just remove the air branding on the takedowns, I'm not 100% sure though

When it comes to true performance gains, I would argue neither. You can definitely feel both pieces of tech though.

Mercurials are more narrow than Phantoms
The Vapor’s structure is the same as the New Balance Furon

I got my air zoom vapor 15 a week ago and after I used them in a match i noticed that the glue that is holding the upper and the lower part together around the toes on the inside of the boots started to get loose and messed up, like the glue didnt stick well enough and it became uncomfortable to play in. I got them changed for a new pair which I used in another match and the same problem happened on my left boot but not on the right as much this time. Is this normal? Or am I just extremely unlucky to get two pairs in a row where the glue doesnt stick good enough? I need answers please. If this has happened to someone else please tell me how you fixed it.
