Here’s my point of view since I have both : The instax camera gives you film quality, meaning that the quality of the photos would often look like something from a disposable camera The printer - is more convenient but the quality looks like a regular photo - also the camera quality is a lot better and a lot less grainier
Which would you recommend? I'm leaning towards the printer because then I can print photos I already have as well as new ones but if the quality is really crap maybe I won't?
Im surprised that the photos printed from the phone also retained a bit of vintage look, on the left side they didnt look edited. Were these edited or just printed off exactly as taken? In which case im wondering if the printer is addding that style. I definitely preferred the photos that were printed.
I remeber my photo teacher told us to take shitloads of photos on my DSLR to make sure I get a good one somewhere in there. I'm guessing he was talking from experience. Meanwhile I usually get my best photo in 2-3 tries. So, it's not that you're bad at photography, you just have a slightly different skill set.
It is nice to have that skill. I think if you have a good eye for photography, it does not matter what camera you use. You will manage to get the perfect picture. As for me, I don't think I have that. just enjoying the experience of making memories with films.😊
Since you were comparing images I’m surprised you prefer the inferior ones. Or perhaps you just prefer a blue color cast on everything, which is fine! Or perhaps this was actually a comparison of the PROCESS to achieve an images … since that was the crux of the video … for which the Instax cameras all have an advantage … no need for the SQ-6’s higher performance when performance isn’t the priority. :)

What is a cost of one Polaroid picture from both camera and printer
I think they use the same film so around 17€ for 20
do you need to have intax camera to make the intax printer work?
