@@EthanGoodbrod I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful boy Kimber. Be aware of something.......apparently our pets don't leave us. According to well known psychic Sylvia Browne who has written over 50 books on the subject of God; life earth + life in Heaven; and animals in Heaven, our pets hang around us in spirit form. They tend to stay close to the home they knew on the earth plane. Sylvia wrote that there are many stories of people hearing their dog bark to come in; of cats letting their presence be known by knocking over a favourite plant; of people hearing their pet's nails clicking on bare floors at night; and even being aware of the beloved smell of their dog's paws after they were gone. On reading about these things I was fascinated but sceptical. Could this really be true? However, at the age of 15 I heard what sounded like my dog Judy whining at the back door to come in, a month after she died. In telling my mom about it, she dismissed it as my imagination and said I just heard the clothesline squeaking. I accepted the explanation until many years later, when a month after my Maltese died in my arms on the way to the vet, I saw a white dog walk into my kitchen out of the corner of my eye. I thought it was my younger Maltese and when I turned to talk to her, there was no dog there. Mystified, I went looking for the younger "alive" dog because she was there and then she wasn't. I found her fast asleep in front of the living room window. Then I realized, that what I saw had to be my older dog in spirit form that I saw because I definitely saw a white Maltese walk into the kitchen. Years later in telling this story to the receptionist where my second Maltese was cremated, SHE told me that 2 years after her German Shepherd had died, she saw him running around the pond on her rural property to meet her as she drove in. Bottom line.............apparently, our pets, as do our loved ones when they cross over, try to send us messages that they haven't gone. They do things to get our attention. The problem is, we dismiss these incidents as coincidences when we aren't open to the possibility these things can actually happen. Loved ones leave feathers, coins and objects for us to find in weird places. They can influence birds and insects to behave in strange ways around us. They can manipulate electrical appliances to turn in and and off; burn out light bulbs and ring telephones but we have to be aware of this or we miss the signs e.g. a months after my brother died, a humming bird flew into his son's garage where he was working and hovered in front of his face. My nephew dismissed it as a weird bird until I told him about all this. Kimber may let you know he is still around. You just have to be open to it and vigilant.

I planned on a day like that for my Doberman who had lung cancer. It was going to be Saturday when we could all be together, unfortunately she took a turn for the worse on Thursday and I had to leave work early to bring her for her final visit to the vets. It’s been 2 years but still cry when I think of her.

So sad :( it reminds me of my pupper samantha. I used to volunteer at a dog shelter and remember taking a real shine to a chocolab named joe but him and my other dog sasha didnt get along. So joe wasnt gonna be a good fit and we had to to find another one. I remember my job at the shelter was putting the dogs in their kennels while the woman who ran it got their food together. All the dogs would bark really loudly in that tiny garage, but there was one boxer shepherd mix who didnt. She sat there very quiet and patiently.
I decided to take a walk with her and interact with her to see how she was. She had a lot of energy, only being 7 months old, and not long into the walk i slipped on the snow and let go of the leash. Man could that dog run fast, she darted 50 yards in a matter of a few seconds and when she turned back she saw me laying in the snow. She came running right back and tried digging me up out of the snow with her snout. It melted my heart and i knew i had to adopt her. My parents came to meet her and brought sasha our other dog. Sasha was very territorial of her toys and it seemed like they wouldnt get a long. Sam was hard to potty train because she grew up on the streets, had limes disease. After about 3 years she finally quit chewing everything i loved, she quit pooping and peeing in the house and she was the perfect dog.
By this point i was 15 and picked up playing guitar, and that dog would always sit downstairs in my basement and would lay next to me for a good hour listening to me play/write/sing until she would put her head on my lap, giving me that "can we go upstairs now" look. I loved that dog like a sister and a daughter and it broke my heart when she was diagnosed with lung cancer at age 9. She had ACL surgery the year before and was finally pain free. My parents gave me the call that she had cancer and was having issues breathing. I took 3 days off work, took a day driving to virginia, spent a day there and left the next day. Only to come back a week later for my 21st birthday (dad got me judas priest tix) ill never forget the day we had. I played music for her, i got her a bacon cheeseburger and fries and we sang together and laid together. I said goodbye and went outside to smoke a cigarette waiting for my brother, and then my mom came out and saying i think sam wants to say goodbye again. She put her paws up on my shoulders and laid her head on me. It was the saddest time of my life, next to losing a bunch of friends to drug overdoses.
Im gonna spread some of her ashes on the trail we walked where i slipped and the rest of my share of the ashes will go inside the only vinyl print of my full length album being recorded called "Smouldering In The Ash" she was there for half of those songs when they were being written.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful video, it really made me smile and miss my beautiful baby girl. Im so sorry for the loss of yours and the rest of everyone in this comment section who feels that pain or has. I love you all 💙

I guess you have crossed that rainbow bridge by now, Kimber. Say, would you look around there and see if there is the most beautiful long-haired Chiquahua there, the color of a fox? You cant miss him. He is, apart from yourself, the most gorgeous little dog there and his name is Hobo. Would you please send him my love, tell him that his momma misses him so very much, that the silly old lady cries for him every day since he crossed that bridge, but we will see each other again! Thanks, Kimber. RIP

Just because you don't cry every day, doesn't mean you have forgotten about your loving companion, it just means he's getting the rest he needs. When you do find yourself crying, it means he has woken up to play for a little bit and you should think about the fun times you've had...... ;)

I did not want to watch this, for I knew I would cry, and I did. I watched to honor Kimber, I love dogs. My baby Carlie also went to the Rainbow Bridge. So sorry, Kimber's Mom and Dad, and sister Mazy.

One suggestion to everyone in the comment section. Love your dog everyday because you never know when you might loose a close friend. It is devastating loosing a good friend of yours. It feels like loosing an important family member. Thank you for this video. My dog died years ago and I still miss him to this very day. I know no other dog will EVER replace Boo.

Kimber walked just like my mom’s miniature pincher who is 15 and just had to be put down as well. She woke up in the middle of the night & wouldn’t stop crying. We gave her medicine & everything. Nothing was helping so we made her as comfortable as possible. Said our goodbyes and took her in

I got so emotional. May she rest in peace❤ I had to put my dog down 4 months ago, we've had her for 13 years. I grew up with her, she was my best friend. These dogs are amazing...

Why do we do this to ourselves? I personally fell apart when I lost the best love of my life. He was so happy to be free of his broken body. He got to the stage where his pride and spirit were broken because he could not go to the bathroom by himself. They look at us and if you are deeply attuned to each other then you will know when they are ready to go. So sorry for your loss.

D Heyes Yes you do D you’re right. Our chihuahua Sugar Bear, was leaving us and she was telling us so. She would not eat or drink for a week she could no longer get out of her bed to toilet. She looked up at me the morning of her passing and told me with her eyes, “momma, please let me go. I know you and daddy will miss me, but I need you to be strong and let me sleep now.”
RIP my beautiful little Sugar Bear 2000-2017

Beautiful tribute. I had to put my Boston Terrier down on Jan 22, 2024. He was with me for 11 and a half years. He was injured and euthanasia was the best thing. I gave him Best Morning Ever before his 12 noon appt. He had a Burger King flame broiled burger plain. I still miss him everyday. And yes us humans and dogs will see each other in the Rainbow Bridge.
