Shaman is the band that André Matos(ex-singer of Angra) formed right after he left Angra in 2000, the bass player and the drummer also left Angra to form Shaman, that live is from 2001. If you guys were familiar with the vocals, that's the reason haha. I'll leave my #painintheask request here so you guys don't forget from the other Angra reaction you guys made on my birthday. #painintheask Okay so I think by the Angra reactions you guys made now you have an idea of how they sounded with their first singer André Matos, now we can go to the second phase of Angra with their second vocalist Edu Falaschi, my recommendations would be The Shadow Hunter(from their 5th album, second with Edu, Temple of Shadows, from 2004) and Nova Era from the first album with Edu, Rebirth, 2001.

I agree!! I could not stop listening to RituAlive when I first got it a few months ago. It is a MASTERPIECE!!! The only other show recorded live in Sao Paulo that I also love big time is Viper's To Live Again show that they did when they reunited back in 2012. I could not stop listening to that show either. I wish that Angra had done a recorded full show with Andre Matos from the Fireworks tour.

Andre Matos is a name more people, Metal fans or otherwise, should know. For a good period of time (10 years, 1993-2003), the guy was for me, unmatched in being a Metal or Symphonic Rock Vocalist who could sing falsetto at the highest level. Fairy Tale from Shaman would be a great 2nd track to react to. Also with Angra - Nothing to Say and Make Believe (probably the latter in thinking about it). He'll probably blow your mind even more than this one did. #painintheask
