Good question as the mould is still exactly the same. We found that the design of the boat itself was already very good. Much better than other hard tenders we see in our rally in terms of stability and moving through the water. Our initial prototype was too vulnerable though. It was still functioning fine but didn’t look fine anymore Most important are the improved side and top protection so it doesn’t get damaged being moored or even against the mothership The handles and the bulkheads are more rugged and the back step compartments are closed for easier rain water draining The wheels have been changed compared to the original one as well On our very first one there was a problem with one of the chemicals that made the gelcoat come off, that should be specific for ours
Because we have been really sweet and AST is as well and they’ve send us a new one to the other end of the world under warranty when they recognised that our prototype had some issues that prototypes tend to have
