I did use the promo component pretty regularly. It would help me to further stories while feuding, and brawls during a promo would be allow me to have a guest character that didn't have a scheduled bout still make an appearance.
To add another useful thing about promo was the fact that wrestlers like Brock and Roman don’t wrestle every week on the same shows doing the same matches, they do promos and segments until the Ppv 💯 that’s why we NEED promos back in so it’s not so repetitive trust me after the DLC people will see that longevity wise it could get lackluster

This doesn't make any sense, why are there cutscenes of wrestlers forming tag teams? And face offs. Are these just random occurrences? Also, why is anyone surprised? 2k22 is 2k14, they fked up the game, "rebuilt" it. spending 90% of their resources and time on graphics and 5% of their time on a bare bones new mode and 5% of their time gutting and neglecting old mode. That's why it took them 5 years to make 2k19. So, to see a NEW innovative title, we will have to wait til WWE 2k27. This dev teams just needs to stop lol. It ridiculous that in 2022, their games still don't receive post launch content. UFC4 has always done it better in every aspect, and their graphics dwarfs WWe 2k everytime.
I honestly dont mind it. I never really used them anyways. I keep a document where I tack title history, storylines, rankings and everything to put myself more in the universe. Ive just gotten kind of used to it.
I didn't buy the game yet. And it feels like right decision. 2K19 was the last solid wrestling game. Universe Mode is the most important mode in the game and many players say that there are still issues with crashes. I'll be damned if I fall a second time for 2Ks messy games after 2K20.

In a month in most cases there are 4 shows before the pay-per-view, if you start a rivalry there will only be fights and matches without interaction between the superstars. 3-no options for (provocation) (self-promotion) (form tag team) (break tag team) and everything will be more complicated and repetitive. 4-removed an easy way to earn cp points, if you played a promotion and won it you could earn cp very easily without much effort 300-600 points. 5-they eliminated a way of creating stories and interaction between the fighters that is always bad because it gives less freedom

I knew 2k was not gonna get it right. Im watching these videos besides it being the same old same old mode they somehow made it worse still no interaction in 2022. If you choose to play as a single superstar the least you could do is give them entrances they can't even do that much. All the modes suck i mean they can't get you the basic things that have been in wrestling from the beginning like tag titles in gm mode,, promos, backstage interaction freedom period in 2022 but some how some way we had damn near all that in ,2001,2002,2003 and 2004 in the smackdown series please make it make sense to me.. I told everyone even after 2 years 2k was gonna give everyone a piss poor game. The actual game play might be fun from what I heard but I'm still seeing things like disappearing objects and stuff like that which they claimed before hand wouldn't happen but having fun gameplay means nothing without longevity in other modes that are actually fun and keep you wanting to play and gives you a challenge so once again ppl with play for a few weeks then stop playing until the dlc then play for a week and stop playing. I would be rooting for wwe teaming with ea like they are rumored to be about to do but they are just as bad if not worse than 2k because madden completely sucks at least 2k graphics are decent I'll give them that much. This surely is not worth 70 bucks and damn sure not worth 119, 130 with tax. My universe mode is completely broke making the same random matches every week random title matches on non ppv shows and the same wrestler vs themselves are booked for main events

Why delete when it could just be turned off for players that don't want to use it? People like are the reason they have half asses their last two games. Take out stuff just because you don't like it is why this is probably going to be their last game. So enjoy the graphic because most people won't being playing it pass the first month.

Universe mode has 2 modes now. Superstar and classic. Superstar u select one a d u r lock in with this star and u do whatever the universe made has u doing organically. Classic mode is like before. No promos u can select but way more cutsences and story telling and promos can happen but it is all organically. But there is now way more story telling. I had a promo happen. Was interrupted in my universe attack. So yes it just all happens organically. Superstar mode is like a season mode u select a superstar and u play through every Match and everything the story telling the universe mode does for u is more fixated on that superstar and his universe if u know what I am getting at.

All the modes suck i mean they can't get you the basic things that have been in wrestling from the beginning like tag titles in gm mode,, promos, backstage interaction freedom period in 2022 but some how some way we had damn near all that in ,2001,2002,2003 and 2004 in the smackdown series please make it make sense to me.. I told everyone even after 2 years 2k was gonna give everyone a piss poor game. The actual game play might be fun from what I heard but I'm still seeing things like disappearing objects and stuff like that which they claimed before hand wouldn't happen but having fun gameplay means nothing without longevity in other modes that are actually fun and keep you wanting to play and gives you a challenge so once again ppl with play for a few weeks then stop playing until the dlc then play for a week and stop playing. I would be rooting for wwe teaming with ea like they are rumored to be about to do but they are just as bad if not worse than 2k because madden completely sucks at least 2k graphics are decent I'll give them that much. This surely is not worth 70 bucks and damn sure not worth 119, 130 with tax. If I ever got this game it would be pre owned way,way down the line on a trade in from game stop or something. 2k sucks bring back thq.
They had 2 years to work on this game. I think it's better then the last one but still scratches my head with the lack of things. Why have gm mode? Just should of intergraded it in universe. Also my game is broke I cant make a new universe. Perhaps I downloaded to many things but I deleted and reinstalled it. And it crashes

My universe mode is completely broke making the same random matches every week random title matches on non ppv shows and the same wrestler vs themselves are booked for main events

divisions suck so fucking bad, I hate a wrestler only being able to go for 1 belt at a time.
Why delete when it could just be turned off for players that don't want to use it? People like are the reason they have half asses their last two games. Take out stuff just because you don't like it is why this is probably going to be their last game. So enjoy the graphic because most people won't being playing it pass the first month.

Universe mode has 2 modes now. Superstar and classic. Superstar u select one a d u r lock in with this star and u do whatever the universe made has u doing organically. Classic mode is like before. No promos u can select but way more cutsences and story telling and promos can happen but it is all organically. But there is now way more story telling. I had a promo happen. Was interrupted in my universe attack. So yes it just all happens organically. Superstar mode is like a season mode u select a superstar and u play through every Match and everything the story telling the universe mode does for u is more fixated on that superstar and his universe if u know what I am getting at.
People hated promos... the forums have been trying to get them removed since their debut

Worst in regards to features, but the gameplay is fire, not gone lie about that and it looks and plays so good.
I used promo's the last day in WWE 2K19 and it was boring and bland. I honestly think you're over selling it. It's not a big deal.

Promos were shit anyways. How u gonna have a champion do a promo and not have his or her belt with them during the promo meanwhile they talking about a title they just won or defended. Plus the promos made 0 sense alot of the time it did not correlate to the story u were trying to tell.
