Hi Gary, and yet another success from bearospace technologies, I love to see your creations. I'm still building your/ my gaff rigg cutter, she's been on hold a little while as we're getting married very soon and I've been real busy building lots if accessories for the big day, bit I've promised Debbie that after we're wed I will be going back to finishing the build of Ziggy, you mentioned a while back that you do a hints and tips for building the ballast keel, I wonder if you might have something in the pipe line, I've never done anything like that before so any help would, as always gratefully received. Love and best wishes, from Martin and Debbie.
Hello Gery, some of my friends said I should look for something to do for my upcoming retirement and the coming winter months and recommended that I build a sailing ship. Me and ships, not a good omen *ggg* So I just did some research on the internet out of curiosity and only came across your channel by chance and have watched a few of your videos so far. Unfortunately I don't really understand your language (I can't speak English) but I was so fascinated by your ships and building skills that I gave you my subscription. 2 days ago, I also ordered 2 construction plans from you "Anni and Irene". Since I first have to familiarize myself with these plans and translate a lot into German, it will be a while before I dare to tackle these projects. I have already looked at the material. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions and issues, e.g.: bending shape - length and angle of the Pelikan pins, but there are forums for that. Keep it up, let us continue to share in your projects and I wish you good health and success with your channel. Regards Anton
Hi Gary. Great to see you again. Just to let you know I finally finished my Irene schooner. It took me over 10 years!! Life's hurdles got in the way. David. From South Island, New Zealand
Very elegant boat building storage. I must and will do something similar to keep my model boat stuff in, currently in about 6 different places. Really pleased to see you Gary!!
@@sailtails2775 For sure. My grandfather went to the Grand Banks at the age of 14, this would have been in the 1920’s as far as I can reckon. Can’t imagine the lifestyle back then. I’m looking forward to getting mine in the water. Thanks for keeping scratch building alive. I have built a lot of rc airplanes, including with floats, this is my first boat.
Good to see you again!, I missed you for a while...nice tool box..I was hoping to see a video of yours about setting up a sail winch servo, ( I can't find it )
Click on the word "sailtails" on the left side of the screen, just below the video. This will take you to my RUclips channel home page, now click on "videos". This will show you all my videos, several of which address sail control systems. Cheers & Happy Sailing !
I love it! My Flyer build has been sitting now for quite some time. I started on the sails but I think I missed something as the I just wasn't getting the dimensions right. However, I am determined to start again to be ready for summer, andas my wife wants that hull off the workbench! 😂
Hello Gary, thank you for showing us such quality content and helping people like us to get into the fantastic world of boat modelling. I was wondering if you could suggest me any reliable website to buy RC sailboat electronics to start with my first project, or if it's possible to convert a normal servo into a winch by somehow make it rotate several times instead (which would save me some time and money) Again, thank you for your attention. Warmest regards Fernando (from Spain)
Very clever design Gary and a great way to get utility out of such a handsome work boat! thanks for sharing and posting. So nice to see you!

@@sailtails2775 so do you live in a boat and build boats inside a boat?
@@HomeRoboticsAustralia Yes indeed, a boatload of boats !
Wonderful, but could be prone to capsize, if not careful.
We are careful and we load the heavy tools in the lower drawers !
Bravo Zulu.
