I noticed that for Fingertip, the girls used "lesser effort" to sing, what I mean is this song suits them so they're not like trying very hard to reach a note. Anybody feels the same as me? Companies should make songs that are of their level so they can be comfortable to sing! I don't mean bad, don't get me wrong. No hate.
Yanyee Lee Actually the previous songs are their genre. They can hit high notes if you didnt know. This girls have amazing voices. many pf them are naturally have high pitched voices. I think, the company wouldnt give any idols or group a song if they cant reach the right note. Btw. they are not trying hard. Im just telling my insight about your comment,no offense.
JeSiNie TzuJoy Actually companies can give them songs that they can't sing example. Twice Cheer Up, AOA Heart Attack.
Add BTS, BTOB and Highlight (and many other boy groups) to the example of companies giving their artists songs they can't really sing, some of the people in those groups are actually baritones but apparently, in Korea, the only thing that counts is high notes so they make them sing in a higher pitch than they're comfortable with so that their main vocals can sing incredibly high notes and then they either think themselves that they can't sing well (ex. Sungjae), they strain their voices (ex. Jimin, though his problem is missing vocal technique rather than the pitch being too high) or their voices don't get enough credit because they're not allowed to show their potential (ex. V). Btw, I'm not hating on any of these groups, I love them all but companies do give idols songs mainly catered towards the main vocals and singing isn't the highest priority when it comes to Kpop groups, it's more about overall performance.
