I realized early on that Charleston White was just playing a character to a certain extent. He’s actually a brilliant man that through the humor and the crude content, there was an underlying message that was substantial. I love that he’s willing to call out the destructive aspects of what too many in the Black community have accepted as part of the “culture”.
