I love how even though these guys have had problems in the past she does not judge them at all because that is what a Christian should be like, welcoming, loving, kind, unjudging, and uplifting.

The wisdom I've been shown is a third of them shouldn't be there. Just by how our injustice system works. ...the most incarcerated nation, us. Then the double standards shown by leaders of political/power.

I felt the spirit touching his heart. And mine.... my dad was murdered 23 years ago. But as a Christian, I have forgiven that man. Who is now out of prison. He was my dad's best friend. He served 15 years. 🥺🥺
HOLY SPIRIT
Angola Prison, where 80% of the 5,000 men will never be released. At one time, when you arrived as an inmate, you were given a knife to protect yourself. Through the efforts of a Christian Warden, Christ was brought into this prison, where men now graduate from a seminary and are transferred to to other prisons as inmate chaplains. Praise the Lord!

It's a shame that this country is so bad at forgiving others!! Is also a shame that had these men been brought up in a world with real opportunity, and Christian support, they may have never committed the crimes that landed them in this prison to begin with!!
I'm not taking away from their own person responsibility, because they did commit the crimes... I guess they are and will be doing the time!! Too bad our young men can't learn from these elder!!!!

This means a lot to me... my dad was a preacher for decades and in missions but the last few decades his heart and mission of God was to love on prisoners and minister to them in prison and help run missions in LA & MS to help them after they are released - after a stroke two years ago he has no longer been able to go into prisons to minister because stroke left half faced paralyzed- SO LAUREN it’s so great when I see other picking up the Torch so to speak in order to love on these guys and girls that many in society forget ... I can’t wait to see you on March 7th... God bless

I'm a Big fan of Lauren Daigle and I'm from Angola ! In general, I don't like to talk about my home country because it's a poor country and nobody cares. But the fact that Lauren went to Angola State Prison and dedicated her time to those poor people in prison who suffer touches me deeply ! Thanks for all Lauren ! God bless you abundantly

Might help you change your mind, I hope it does, but that choice is up to you. Take a look at Paul's life. He murdered and persecuted who knows how many Christians, and he was feared by the Christians. God changed his life and made him quite possibly the greatest apostle of all time. If God can change Paul, he can change anyone. God bless.

Amen to this. God forgive any sin but the unbelive.God doesn't remove the consequences of sin. PAUL did it thinking he was doing God work. @@artfie7984 Ours is not to judge and we are not supposed to understand everything. It is all in God's hands. There is evil and we can separate it from normalcy but evil will be judged by the Almighty not us.
This video means so much to me. My dad is one of the men in Angola and he will spend the rest of his life there. I was able to visit him for the first time in almost 10 years this past November. I am so encouraged to know that the message of the Messiah is reaching him and others in the prison. I cannot watch this without tears because they need to know the Messiah is right there with them waiting for them to call to Him. Thank you for sharing the most important message with not only them but to all who will see this video.

Awesome my dad was in Angola once and all my uncle have gone to prison and I feel one of my purposes with my gifts are to bring Christian fellowship to the jailhouses as well because they have been a part of my entire life honestly. Bless u love! Sometimes we as free people forget about those. Forgetting that Gods Grace is sufficient even when men says no

Out of curiosity, I wonder if YOU would take time out of your busy schedule to encourage the people that society threw away (and forgot about), with a message of love. Out of curiosity, I wonder if YOU, YOURSELF would take the time, effort, and energy to allow these prisoners to receive phone calls and clothes. God is love and (True) Love is God. She may not be on the same level as you, spiritually (she may be still immature), but that gives you NO right to attack, criticize and cast judgment on her. She is still growing (very slowly) in the faith. Remember back when you were that age (spiritually) and cut her some slack. New level, new devils... she has "enough on her plate" without other members of the Body constantly "going for her jugular"... If you're that concerned and appalled, pray 🙏 for her!.... Pray fervently and effectually in the name of JESUS THE MESSIAH, YESHUA HAMASHIACH

Huh??? Unbelievers visit prisons also. Many people who aren’t saved go and perform concerts at prisons. I think we need to be careful on identifying Christians with works that the world also does too. The unsaved give to charities and things also.

Basically anyone Christian or unbeliever can go here and do the exact same thing she is doing. The difference would be if she was teaching people the Gospel. Not just promoting another video she makes money off of.

I just happened to be checking if she had any new music out and came across this. Her heart is so beautiful. And her music. Oh man her music. Touches my soul and lights it on fire. I'm not sure what's happening to me lately, but I think I may have broken past the anger in my heart and I think God is telling me it's time to come back to him. My spirituality has been a hard road to travel for many many reasons. Since getting clean off drugs, I've always believed in my HP, but I have had a hard time with my religious beliefs. What a perfect season to feel this feeling of... coming home.

God bless you all 🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️ i started getting teary eyed seeing this and I feel what they’re feeling, I had spent so much over the years with traveling to go see my loved one incarcerated and the letters and on his books and for him and especially phone calls, so he can talk to us and grow with our babies as much as possible. And for them to hear his voice and so he can hear there’s and just be at home any way possible. I can imagine what all those that are incarcerated could be filling so much tears of joy to have that weight of their shoulders so they can talk to their loved ones and not worry so much financially about putting money on the phone and just enjoying the call being able to communicate like that because of amazing Godly people such as yourself Lauren 👏🏼😇🤗❤️ I love you girl and I look up to you and I’m grateful for people like you in this world 🌎 y’all are amazing 💕
