Is the premium tax credit the same as my child tax credit ? I have one child I get 2000 child tax credit now is that 2000 goes to pay for my insurance as a premium tax credit?

Nooo two different credits. Not the same.

Thank you - but I believe you meant Medicaid not Medicare
