Very rich sounding spruce, the recording is very nice. This is a very difficult piece to make it sound decent and the length is an endurance test. I find this flawless and its amazing to hear this piece anytime. I am glad to see anyone perform any piece. The RUclips has brought more to the Classical Guitar than recordings ever did. After college I was self taught but these players are obviously receiving some very good instruction. In 1971 I began with a German professor Goethe Institute as a beginner he was good and guided me to the right materials. Getting a late start at age 21 I was never able to achieve this level of performance.I am now reconstructing my repertoire at age 65. The Video Classical Guitarists help in many ways other master classes could have never helped. Thank you so much Paola!

Hate to break it to you, but there are husks wandering the earth devoid of many aspects of humanity. It would seem there are many who wouldn't applaud this because they cannot accept or appreciate what they've just witnessed. Pity them.

Aha! I think I heard a mistake! :) Truth is, if I could put those mistakes in context in my own playing, I'd be a thousand times better player than I am now. Beautifully done. Very much enjoyed listening.
In a studio recording, a musician can redo any part over and over and music editing software can be used to fix up mistakes or infelicities. But in live recordings like this, the player has to be spot on. She seemed to be spot on to me. Great, musical, consistent playing. Beautiful.

Guess I'll just have to play for small groups and forget about a comeback at my age. The small groups by the way are my chipmunk friends in the back woods.

John, I know the feeling. Still I like to occasionally 'mess' around'. At 70 i'm petty familiar with the guitar scene but youtube has led me to many new discoveries. I felt I had really been impoverished when I only recently discovered Paco de Lucia. I was in shock for months. :-)
The dislikes are rooted in jealousy...how can God give one person so much beauty and talent. They forget the 1000's of practiced hours. A woman like this is a model for girls born pretty to NOT just take what you have been given, but to develop a sense of self. However she did this and whatever drives her...all the good.
