She was way too chill lol. She never once seemed even remotely scared. She saw someone standing outside the window then moving to the front door and straight faced, casually walked to the door and locked it.... Then she's in her room, hears noises, no reaction. Lights go off and sound of running in the house, she barely reacted until throwing the blanket over her head and covered her mouth with the calmest expression ever seen in horror lol
I don’t get how people think hiding under a blanket is sufficient protection. One thing she could have done was close the bedroom door quietly; then again, since it’s a supernatural entity, that probably would not have mattered. That being said, I like the lighting in this story. It felt like it could happen to anyone in their daily life, which is terrifying. Looking forward to another one!
I don’t think it was supernatural, I think the intruder just went in three the garage when she was checking the front door. And then while she was hiding under the covers, it just kept moving around. In conclusion, she got outplayed
Its psychological. Its the desire to be somewhere else and not see what you're seeing. As someone who has had a few "paranormal" experiences and years of exposure to extreme levels of violence, I can say that even as an adult, I've pulled the covers over my head lol.
No, but a blanket with a mobile phone ringing and shining through the blanket is indeed protection. No way can the entity ever know you're hiding underneath it lol
0:54 This. THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE is why modern big budget horror films suck. They don't appreciate subtlety like these short indie projects do. The image is there, but it's not accented or highlighted. You could easily miss it. You find it on your own without any sort of cue, and it's instantly more terrifying. Bravo on that!
@@Vendettasno1fan When she leans forward to put the logs in the fire, look over her back just past the wall to the other room, at the very top of the screen.
Great Short, very creepy, just a few personal isms about horror movie tropes. I don't get why everyone in horror movies and shorts 1. Leaves doors unlocked or open-like the garage door, 2. Leaves blinds open or up at night when you can't see out but they can see in, and 3. Always has Spaghetti for dinner-Not applicable in this one, but usually. I have a habit of locking my doors as I come inside, I always stand and watch my garage door close all the way before going inside, so no one can slide in while it's closing, and all blinds are closed before the sun fully sets, because I've stood outside and looked into my house with the blinds open and seen everything, while those inside could not see me at all. And spaghetti, I mean, come on, ramen is cheaper, I'm sure! ;-)
Woman hearing the hallway’s floor creaking, seeing the light shut off, hearing the monster run towards the bedroom, her hiding under the bedcovers, her seeing the door slowly open, and seeing the monster with long hair smiling by her bed. All of that is taken from the short film Lights Out.
Gosh dam that was some good horror! That was creepy & I always imagined when I was young that that's what I would see when my imagination would run wild at night! Haha! Excellent horror!
Active threat outside the window: step one lock door. So far so good. Step 2: open door and peek your head out. Well, you died. But let's continue: step 3 close blinds Step 4: remeber garage door (forgiveable but dangerous. Step 5, mom texts you and you respond with "SEE YOU SOON" WHILE UNDER ATTACK BY AN INTRUDER?! STEP 6: go to BED?! GO TO BED?! WHAT ARE YOU?!?!?! Step 7, the intruder is sprinting uo the stairs, stay in bed and call mom. I'm crying laughing. Oh yeah step 8: the active threat is standing in front of you, STARING DIRECTLY AT YOU. What do you do? Hide under the blanket and grab your phone :) Oh dude this is a COMEDY. It's gold! I love it!
Any1 notiched the mistake with the phone she dropped her phone on the floor and it landed flat on the screen but as soon she looked down her phone was turned back over on it's back when it landed flat on the screen .. gd wee short film

I have watched this again with utter fear , it really is a very scary horror film because of that horrible sound of something running up the stairs , there is nothing worse , not mention that horrible face , I worry that I dream about something running up the stairs just so frightening , normally I can wake my self up by screaming and saving my arms in dream to wake up , touch wood has not happened yet , this is not for the faint hearted . 😵😵😰😰💀💀😱😱💗💗💗

This was incredible. I created a channel just to comment lmao. I’ve seen a LOT of short horror films on here and this is one of the best by far
They always lock the door at the last min 🤦🏽♀️. Then most of the time, it doesn’t get locked at all
She really turned into Dora when she heard the noise and started exploring 🤨
She left the whole freaking garage door open. 😂
Her acting was kind of bad lmao
I really liked the overall quietness of the video. There was no ominous score that played in the background and I think that's the scariest part.
these films scare the shit out of me more than regular scary movies 😭
Poor ghost.. The ghost just wanted to play some game on her phone -

Dear Belle, i would have to kind heartedly disagree. I thought it was not very creepy at all. You're a hack. "Get rich or die tryin'" - Ted baker
"Bling!" and the girl peeks from her blanket.
This was filmed in a very real way and was the best horror short I’ve seen in a long time. Very well done! Liked/subbed
