USHRA Oklahoma City 1991 Race One

The United States Hot Rod Association Monster Truck Challenge from the Oklahoma State Fair Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on ESPN Speedworld. Eight of the best monster trucks are in attendance on a Chicago-style course. Also included is mud racing from the Centrum in Worcester, Massachusetts.

I didn’t realize that. Do he just mount the body completely different from the way Porter mounted the Chevy body or what? It has a completely different look.

⁠​⁠@@Spyke-lz2hl pretty sure he put a fiberglass body on it and changed the suspension. After the tragedy in Niagara Falls the truck was sold to Terry Woodcock and became Wild Thang. (Not the Tony Farrell version.) It then disappeared and has been rumored to have been turned into a variety of other trucks. I have always felt really bad for Don, seeing how this incident and the tragedy in Niagara Falls kind put a black mark on his name. I always thought that Bad Medicine looked pretty cool too, but I prefer the truck’s successor, Magnum Force.
