    Arrived here from Matt D'Avella, guys you ARE F**********G persistent and crazy.
    I neither know the content of your videos but Jesus Christ you went through millions of minute of shooting, recording production and even without a BIG success you didn't give up.
    That's a really good motivation for me that I opened few months ago. I am not going to give up.
    PS I tried to look at your older videos but it arrives maximum around episode #260 .... what about earlier ?
    Thanks guys, bests and cheers.

      Hey mate, thank you so much!
      We started as an audio-only podcast for the first 260 odd episodes! Those audio episodes, along with all of our video episodes can be found on our website at thedailytalkshow.com/

      @@TheDailyTalkShow That's much more clear now - I think I will use them to improve my english. I will start from youtube cause I prefer it. You could do a video - Where the 1 - 260 episodes are - ahahhaahah and just put it as a first video :P
      Thanks for your work guys. I wish you luck

    Would definitely recommend creating more clickbaity/shiny/interesting content. It is literally the only way to become big on youtube. Yall sort of have to convince me to spend an hour listening to you guys podcast from just watching a minute of it. Colors, stories, easy to follow conversations, understanding who the guests are ect ect ect Good luck guys!

      Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!
      Completely understand where you’re coming from! Being on a longer journey (a ten year goal) means focusing less on the finite games of algorithms and clickbait - and instead focussing on things like consistency and quality of conversations.
      To your point, it can look less appealing to a new potential audience member arriving at our content for the first time.
      We’ve had some nice growth with our podcast listenership, and as we iterate with things like our RUclips channel, we’ll start to optimise thumbnails and overall experience.
      Aim of the game is you’re good enough that some of those things don’t matter! We’ll see.
      Here for a while!

      @@TheDailyTalkShow I understand that it is really difficult to make a appealing title or thumbnail on a one hour conversation without appreciating every minute of it.
      But take the Ethan and ihla podcast of H3h3 for example:
      They do a long podcast with a guest, upload it and then re-upload different scenes of about 6-10 minutes with special topics. These are easy to title and gives a new potential listener a better first impression.
      They can click on a shorter video with a scene in the middle of a podcast, see how much it interests them and then listen to the full podcast.

    • @CSmr-cc7ge
      @CSmr-cc7ge 4 года назад +3

      @@TheDailyTalkShow See, I would never watch your or the h3h3 podcast for an hour, but these 10 minute clips I definitely would. It opens you up to a new audience while still keeping the quality of the podcasts as high as before.
      Also you can title them more specific. Like "... On ... (secret to success for example)" something like that.

    • @CSmr-cc7ge
      @CSmr-cc7ge 4 года назад +1

      @@TheDailyTalkShow also the goal of focusing on quality of the content and the goal of adapting to your surrounding don't conflict each other. They can both be achieved.
      And in this case it would mean being more specific and altering the odds of somebody finding your Chanel.
      If you just put the name of your guest in the podcast, you can only be found if somebody is searching for your guest, but if the guest is a RUclipsr you would have to scroll really far down. But if you upload you whole podcast, and then cut the same one hour podcast into six 10 minute parts and name each part "discussing this subject with this person" or "this person's opinion on this subject" you multiplied your odds of somebody finding you and still stay close with your moral standards.

      I really want to help you guys with this, I did Social media for a amateur soccer club on Instagram and managed short term success before I stopped due to school. Just adapting really helps and except for research you only need to do once it's not a lot of work, but can get you an extra of sustainable growth.

    I was following Mimi for a couple of years. I stopped when I realised that she says one thing and then she does completely another. I remember when she said they don't own a car and they only drive taxi. She was around 30, pregnant. Now I am shocked to hear Alex speaking about cars. Now their divorce. It shows that their real life was completely different than instagram (talking about ecology, than taking a private jets, compulsively travelling and buying stuff (clothes, makeup etc). I think Mimi has two faces, what a disappointment.
