I was getting ready for work & suddenly screamed as loud as I could. After that I went to counseling & during my first session started telling her I was okay. She said...Theresa...you lost your son...it is okay to be sad. At some point you need to let it out. The grief never goes away but in time you find a safe place for it. Sending you hugs & love.

Mindy, I went through a very similar situation that you just went through with losing the embryo….but a year later, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and a year after that, I had my little baby boy. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and while we don’t always (if ever) know that reason, we still have to hold on to hope and trust the process. I wish you and Larry the very best!❤️

I agree everyone should spend time with their parents. I lost my younger brother in May and not single day goes by when I don't miss or think about him . I wish I would've had more time he was only 27 yrs old .

The stars on the rollercoaster are caused by the changes in G force that cause lack of oxygen to the brain. I think people who are prone to migraines and those with TBI's ( like myself) are affected much more easily. It sucks because I really miss going on crazy rides!!

I lost my daughter at 38.5 weeks and it has been a couple years and time I don't think heals losing a child. Whatever stage of life (in my heart and in my head a Baby is Always a Baby from day 1/hour 1, IMO, so please don't come for me if you feel difference between thoughts) and some may not agree and that's okay, I am understanding of why you think different than me. But I have experienced loss, hurt & grieving of all sorts & nothing comparable to having lost my baby, my daughter and literally a true piece of me/my heart. So, Incase in time you still feel the same exact feelings you did that night, during that call and on Thanksgiving just know it is normal and time unfortunately doesn't heal it just makes it more bearable. Today is going to be a lazy day for me because yesterday was a big day. I went to the Trans Siberian orchestra concert and it was truly awesome! Two sisters and two nieces went and then we all had a delicious steak dinner! It was a long wonderful Christmas treat for us!! Probably just do some online shopping today.
I had an early start too, my boys like to wake up at 5:50 haha so im like today I'm gonna catch up on Mindy videos, clean, and then youth group tonight. So im excited to watch this one and the next one too!
Idk if you’ve ever heard of this but there is something that happens at Universal a few times a year called Orlando Informer. It’s is a private event you have to buy tickets for, but they close the park to regular guests so the crowds are WAY lower. It is a little pricey but you can walk on to practically every ride and food is included. I went to the one the weekend before Thanksgiving and we watched the light show with maybe 20 people standing around us. It’s the only way me and my mom will go to Universal anymore 😂 Totally worth it!

Yes I completely get it, it goes way too fast, I can’t believe my first born is 10 already, my youngest is 3 and you just don’t get those moments back. There will always be a Christmas every year but Liam will only be a toddler once. I wouldn’t worry about anything other than that❤
youre lucky to have those mother daughter dates take advantage ofnthose moments when you can. I lost both my dad and mom back to back and i truly miss those moments with them. Sadly I just suffered a miscarriage 10 days ago. 2 days b4 I miscarried we had a pregnancy announcement photoshoot done for our family for Christmas. We got the pictures back yesterday. All I can do is look at them and cry.

My whole entire family got Covid. So we didn't get to celebrate Christmas yet. It's been miserable. Thankfully I have an awesome neighbor who has dropped of meds and food for us. We are just stuck in bed miserable. My fever got scary at 104.8. I felt delirious and like I was dying. Even told my husband I think I may die. It has been so sad. Worst part is not being able to take care if anyone but myself. My kids are teens so that helps. The dizzyness or stars you felt was your autonomic system under attack. Your equilibrium was disturbed. Happens if you stand up to fast too.
I totally get not doing Vlogmas this year. You deserve to take a break and soak in all the moments with Liam and your family. ❤ I miss Vlogmas but I totally get it there’s always next year if you decide to do it again.
The Velococoaster is the WORST RIDE I'VE EVER RIDDEN!!!! It gave me and my husband whiplash, and injured our backs! We were in the very back, and I've NEVER wished a ride would end sooo much sooner than it did!

We had to shift our one ur olds nap from two to one and so now she usually goes down between 10-11 and sleeps two or so hours .he might just be going through that if he’s still on two naps . It’s normal for like a four to five awake time then nap

Hey, Mindy, Larry, and precious Liam! What a great vlog! As always! ❤️ The chocolate ball moment also had my hubby and me cracking up.😂🤣 What are we doing today? Right now, I am having an emotionally necessary break from being a humanities professor and course designer at the end of a semester. I truly understand what you mean about those edits. It's also not like we can just sit down and do things on a dime; sometimes, the mind will compel you to take a break. Sometimes, that will be the job of your family. 😀 I understand what you mean about the weird surges of emotion. I was able to have one child biologically because I developed a wicked case of life-threatening HELLP syndrome, and my genetic condition makes me prone for that to happen again. I'm now in menopause, and I still miss the babies I didn't have, but I, too, am able to make peace with those moments. We adopted another child, so I focus on how much we love him and how much he and his brother love each other. I know your dad is adopted, so you get to see that dynamic first hand. I always joked that if we wanted a girl, that was the only one 100% way to get one- lol! Each relationship with a child is different, but there is no such thing as a quantity of love, so we are very blessed! I do love your vlogmases, but I honestly feel like every video you make in December is a vlogmas video. You are absolutely right about being present for Liam. You will never regret that! On a lighter note, I love the Ouai products and appreciate the discounts. We use the Detox shampoo quite a bit, and I also use the fine hair shampoo. Both smell amazing! I also got the Rue St. Honore perfume, and it straight up smells like a beautiful gardenia. A very little goes a long way, and it lasts for an extra long time. We just watched Season 1 of Lessons in Chemistry on Apple and it’s so good. It started a little slow but than we quickly got into it. 9:58 Get your cervical neck checked. I get migraines and nausea from neck strain. I have a compressed disk in c2 and c3. I had an adjustment once that had me seeing stars and eventually my vision totally faded out. It took 15 minutes of rest for it to come back. So scary! Some people just have a bunch of nerves really close to all those joints in the neck. I am one of them. My chiropractor has to use the super special clicky tools on me because I am prone to visual issues.
I can’t do rollercoasters. I have only gone on Mt Everest. I get nauseous easily. The only time I don’t get nauseous is on airplanes and boats. And then if I am the one driving and a select few others.
I wondered about the headaches/migraines with roller coasters. Some rides I avoid because they trigger my migraines. I don't recall if I've ever seen stars or anything though.
You asked what I am doing today. I am cleaning. I bleached the floor because I have pets and it is one of those bleach days. I cleaned the bathroom. I am going to wipe down some surfaces and clean the sink and the oven. Yesterday, I cleaned one pet area. I have similar tasks to do today. And the bucket/container I keep my cleaning supplies in somehow went a little moldy. It is not bad though. I am going to clean that too. I have no idea how that happened. Hahaha

My whole entire family got Covid. So we didn't get to celebrate Christmas yet. It's been miserable. Thankfully I have an awesome neighbor who has dropped of meds and food for us. We are just stuck in bed miserable. My fever got scary at 104.8. I felt delirious and like I was dying. Even told my husband I think I may die. It has been so sad. Worst part is not being able to take care if anyone but myself. My kids are teens so that helps. The dizzyness or stars you felt was your autonomic system under attack. Your equilibrium was disturbed. Happens if you stand up to fast too.
I get up at 5 everyday for work. Raining in NJ this morning so I dreaded getting up.

The Velococoaster is the WORST RIDE I'VE EVER RIDDEN!!!! It gave me and my husband whiplash, and injured our backs! We were in the very back, and I've NEVER wished a ride would end sooo much sooner than it did!

If you’d rather go box dye, it’s $30 but I’ve been happy with Madison Reed. It’s the only place I’ve been able to find my natural color (just want it for grays) Medium Cinnamon Brown. Most box dyes with auburn tones just look red and horribly unnatural.
We had to shift our one ur olds nap from two to one and so now she usually goes down between 10-11 and sleeps two or so hours .he might just be going through that if he’s still on two naps . It’s normal for like a four to five awake time then nap

What are we doing today? Right now, I am having an emotionally necessary break from being a humanities professor and course designer at the end of a semester. I truly understand what you mean about those edits. It's also not like we can just sit down and do things on a dime; sometimes, the mind will compel you to take a break. Sometimes, that will be the job of your family. 😀
I understand what you mean about the weird surges of emotion. I was able to have one child biologically because I developed a wicked case of life-threatening HELLP syndrome, and my genetic condition makes me prone for that to happen again. I'm now in menopause, and I still miss the babies I didn't have, but I, too, am able to make peace with those moments.
We adopted another child, so I focus on how much we love him and how much he and his brother love each other. I know your dad is adopted, so you get to see that dynamic first hand. I always joked that if we wanted a girl, that was the only one 100% way to get one- lol! Each relationship with a child is different, but there is no such thing as a quantity of love, so we are very blessed!
I do love your vlogmases, but I honestly feel like every video you make in December is a vlogmas video. You are absolutely right about being present for Liam. You will never regret that!
On a lighter note, I love the Ouai products and appreciate the discounts. We use the Detox shampoo quite a bit, and I also use the fine hair shampoo. Both smell amazing! I also got the Rue St. Honore perfume, and it straight up smells like a beautiful gardenia. A very little goes a long way, and it lasts for an extra long time.

We just watched Season 1 of Lessons in Chemistry on Apple and it’s so good. It started a little slow but than we quickly got into it. Today is my first day back to work from maternity leave. My baby is only 7 weeks and I’m having such a hard time 💔😩
9:58 Get your cervical neck checked. I get migraines and nausea from neck strain. I have a compressed disk in c2 and c3. I had an adjustment once that had me seeing stars and eventually my vision totally faded out. It took 15 minutes of rest for it to come back. So scary! Some people just have a bunch of nerves really close to all those joints in the neck. I am one of them. My chiropractor has to use the super special clicky tools on me because I am prone to visual issues.
I can’t do rollercoasters. I have only gone on Mt Everest. I get nauseous easily. The only time I don’t get nauseous is on airplanes and boats. And then if I am the one driving and a select few others.
I wondered about the headaches/migraines with roller coasters. Some rides I avoid because they trigger my migraines. I don't recall if I've ever seen stars or anything though.
You asked what I am doing today. I am cleaning. I bleached the floor because I have pets and it is one of those bleach days. I cleaned the bathroom. I am going to wipe down some surfaces and clean the sink and the oven. Yesterday, I cleaned one pet area. I have similar tasks to do today. And the bucket/container I keep my cleaning supplies in somehow went a little moldy. It is not bad though. I am going to clean that too. I have no idea how that happened. Hahaha

I really feel you on the I should be pregnant right now. I had a miscarriage in June and my due was December 21st . It has been so hard with that date coming up. Thinking I should be about to have my baby and I’m not.
