Has this song "C'Mon" from "Panic At the Disco" and when you listen you feel inside Alice in Wonderland that I really like and I know it would be asking too much ... but you could make a music video about it?
NATE ZILLER!!! I remember watching this at around 7th grade! And just this night I remembered to watch it again! I'd just like to tell u that this video still gives me goosebumps and chills everytime I watch it! This has also been an inspirations in my crafts especially in writing stories! Very emotional! I hope you're doing well btw. Thank you again so much for this masterpiece!!
Fun to see a girl who saves the boy, usually never happens. It's always the white knight who saves the day, or it's the girl who saves herself. But this scenario is rarely explored, good work.
story reminds me of shadow of the colossus. The spirit god says he can bring back his dead girl friend but he has to kill these colossus. After he kills all of them, the spirit god takes his spirit, and then she comes back alive.
Nate Ziller If you don't mind me asking; how did you do the backgrounds in this one? Was it made from scratch - what tools and what process? Or did you start with a real image, and lay effects on it? I'm really interested in knowing this - I'm an artstudent myself.
Olivebates A video like this involves a lot of planning. The programs I used were Flash, Photoshop, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro. I knew I wanted to have painted backgrounds from the start. I spent a long time writing the story out because what happens in each shot is more important than how the shot actually looks. After I finished writing the video I began to experiment with different looks. I settled on using photoshop and using filters to make the photo backgrounds have a drawn look. But I also used After Effects to add lighting and other effects. Sorry for not responding sooner!
Olivebates I think I followed a water color tutorial online. For most of the pictures I bitmap traced them in Flash (turned the photo's into a bunch of shapes) and then I painted over them digitally. But what really make the images look nice was After Effects when I added lighting and glows. Looking back at it now I would do a lot of things differently. I am working on another video in this "magical" style but they take forever to make. You can see a comparison of my storyboard to final here, nateziller.blogspot.com/2014/07/your-bones-storyboard-vs-final.html I took about half of the photos myself and then a quarter of them were taking my friends of mine and the other quarter I digitally painted myself. Planning the shots is more important than any filters or special effects.
Great stuff, Nate! Very happy seeing your stuff, just hate the fact that RUclips waited 2 weeks to show me you uploaded it so I could've seen it earlier, haha!

That was amazingly beautiful and touching but sad and disturbing at the same time. And it went so well with the music, too.

How about a 10,000 kg push-up challenge? Doing as much push-ups as possible that the accumulated push-ups equals to 10,000 kg or more.
It's just a hunch, but I think your comment was meant for my video called "The Push Up Challenge" not this one.......................
Nate Ziller Yep. Wonder how that happened.
Ha ha! Thanks man!
Great stuff, Nate! Very happy seeing your stuff, just hate the fact that RUclips waited 2 weeks to show me you uploaded it so I could've seen it earlier, haha!
