      You said Gronk is retiring like that's a sure thing...he never said that! What he actually said was that he will take a couple weeks to decide. And let's be honest, he is not the force he was due to all his injuries but he is still very good! imo he still has 2-3 good seasons left unless he has another major injury.
      Yes Bill Belicheck is is a mastermind and the best ever!

      @stephenmalley3415 5 лет назад

      wandering spirit he’s better than SNL. He thinks for himself unlike the bovine agreement of the SNL cast who can act but don’t question.
      Premises, conclusions and the way they think are all, as he put it ‘because we’ve always done it this way!...ie shut up, your making trouble (work of thinking and innovating. They’re 60’s counterculture glee club kids who have been in a bubble all their lives.
      They’ve (#NotAll🤦🏻‍♂️never had to live in the ‘real world ‘ that most do and experience its qualities, for good and bad. Therefore their audience is largely people who relate-college kids, government workers and subsidised media personnel. Throw in trust fund kid activists and you have a rapport with people who have nothing to lose by being safe. But the human Desiree to take risks manifests in the politics of radical progressivism.
      They push to burn the system that makes them the most privileged and comfortable people in history. That way they don’t have to think (crowd mentality), appear for the vulnerable ( therefore good people) and risking their privilege by advocating for radical change toward an empirically inferior system that uneducated inexperienced people are drawn to.
      But, like football, life’s not played on paper. Group psychology is so much easier to read as it has to be basic, so everyone can understand.
      Look,at what happen when nuance (the new in word-complexity really) is brought in...they go nuts and split into tribes ie feminism v transgenderism. The L’s are fighting the T’s in a civil war and the G’s and B’s are forced to take a side and the new Q’s and I’s and +’s are just ‘...jeez we thought we were the wired ones, we joined this community and we are the most normal’.
      Gender politics is, like all tribal politics, backward and a regression from where we are and also nothing to do with my original point. But that’s why they’re ‘Regressives’ who think they’re progressive because they’re historically ignorant and don’t understand human nature on a macro level.

    If you watched the game you’d know Brady didn’t play HORRIBLE after that first pass. Had 250+ yards , threw a lot of great passes especially that last one to set up the TD. It wasn’t a great performance but it’s not like an all time bad performance.

    • @elijahcademartori9854
      @elijahcademartori9854 5 лет назад +7

      This, if Goff had that performance and won. Nobody would be shitting on him. The expectation of Brady is just really high now. So by comparison, he sucked.

      @Tommy Wiseau I never made that claim. I said if "Goff" had that game on the biggest stage. Nobody would be saying it was terrible. It was a very average performance, but under immense pressure(being in the super bowl) against excellent defensive players. Which is still bad based on the expectation of Brady. I thought I was very clear on that.

    • @elijahcademartori9854
      @elijahcademartori9854 5 лет назад +10

      Absurd. This is not an argument worth having if you think Mahomes 1 great season equates to being better than Brady. As if 2007 never happened. Ridiculous, did you start watching football last year? I'm a Steelers fan that was cheering for the Giants in '07 and '11. If you really believe that Brady is just a "system QB", you'll never get it I guess.

    • @jasonlewis7880
      @jasonlewis7880 5 лет назад +5

      @Tommy Wiseau so you're discounting some decent defence played by the Rams and stating Brady was the reason Pats only scored 13? Come on, I actually enjoyed seeing how well these 2 teams played defensively. It was wonderful to watch, now I know this sort of game isn't everyone's cup of tea but surely it's ok to applaud the better element that we saw in this matchup, which on the day, was excellent defends by both teams.

      Brady is an all-time great, but this is a downright lie that is directly disputed by facts.
      Brady is 7-3 in his career in playoff games with a rating less than 73 (mediocrity by all QB's standards). All other QB's over that same time period are 5-62. Drew Brees has never had a playoff game with a rating less than 73, but he is 1-6 with a rating < 96. Brady has won not one, but TWO AFC championship games with a rating of 57. FIFTY SEVEN. That is a straight up ASS game, and being the stand-up no bullshit dude he is, he is ALWAYS the first one to come out and say that. Historical win % for QB's... in all of NFL history...with below a 73 rating is 13%. In all the years of Tom Brady's career as a starter, it's 7%. Again, Brady is 7-3. 70% win rate. Exactly 10x higher team win % than all other QB's in the league during mediocre performances.
      Let me be clear -- I am in no way trying to claim he isn't an all-time great QB, but Brady's margin of error over the course of his career has been ASTRONOMICALLY higher than that of every other QB in the NFL, and there is quite literally no way to argue differently. Don't make blatantly false claims.

    The Pats played keep away with the Rams not with rushing, but by completing with Edelman for 3 quarters. The Rams went away from the run game, and that was why they lost. McVay thought Goff could perform at a Brady type level and he can't- yet. I think the Rams will be making the playoffs for the next few years, and McVay will get better as a coach and Goff as a QB. The Rams just ran into a masterful Belichik game plan on Defense and they disrupted the Rams offense all game. But I must give the Rams Defense a lot of credit as well. For 50 minutes they let the Pats move down the field effortlessly, but to hold the Pats to 3 points for that long was an achievement.

      Yes it would have. The pats would have scored 50 and the saints would have scored about 10...

    Schlereth right. Rams...keep running the ball! Still they were tied in the fourth. Plus, one dropped TD in the 4th, different narrative if caught to tie 10-10.

    It's a deal with the devil. No question without a doubt. If ever a deal was made it was Bill and Tom. You don't with these great athlete's in the NFL get to just get rid of talent and still make it work. There are better teams but OMG they still pull it out. The alternative is Bills just that good and teams just buckle at his greatness. If you make a deal with the devil there are things that go in your favor
