Of course if you have decent IEMs already (which I guess most of us who watch this channel do) there are the boom mic cables from Kinera. But crazily enough they cost about the same and for the higher end one much more!
I have these and found the boom mic completely redundant. The inline mic is more sensitive and over rules the boom mic. I also found the fit on the large side which made longer wearing sessions painful.
By redundant do you mean that you hear a loud echo of the game audio being captured by the microphone? Or that the microphone volume is very high? Would you recommend them for game chat?
@@BnanaJoGam3s redundant as in there is no change in audio quality with or without the boom mic. It's almost entirely for show. The normal mic quality was adequate and what I would expect at this price point. I used it for calls just fine. I have since ordered the kinera Gramr cable so hopefully that implements the idea better.
Hey david, great video though I'll probably have to pass this one since I've gotten the og TE Zeros. Thinking of getting the hyped TE novas. Heard from some other guy, they had the bass of blon blo3, mids of the TE hexa and treble like the TE Zero reds.
Can i ask if while playing there is any possibility of hearing echoes of what is being played in the headphones? I recently purchased the 7HZ Salnotes zero with the in-line mic but for game chat they are absolutely unusable because all the sounds and voices in the headphones are reproduced by the mic. I connected them to an Asus sound card.
How does it compare to moondrop chu2 in terms of sound and gaming? I'd use moondrop chu 1 and find that they're great for gaming too even though i bought it because of the hype
I'm thinking about buying these, mainly for music, but also for gaming during summer, as overear headphones get quite hot. The thing is though, I already have a pair of Wan' ners and these seem very similar. Do you know how they fair against them, especially in terms of technicalities.
@@todd92371do you have the QOA Celest Wyvern? And if so is the mic good? Does it have a muting option. I’m really looking for something for Ps5 competitive gaming with mute option 🫤
This product has cable issue always. Microphone quality is very poor and right end ear cable no sound at all. To purchase it wisely, it may have a disaster for you. Not a pleasant shopping experience on the IEM earbuds + boom microphone. Bad!!

Could just get these to get the mic and pair them with better or more premium iems, then use a different cable with the wyvern pros for outside use.
@@aura_guardian35 I'm in the middle of doing this with the Truthear Zero and the Kinera cable

Nice review. Very detailed! Thanks
It is common to say dragon when people see a Wyvern, like in GOT.
The opposite however is much more rare!

Thanks. Yeah the Nova will be interesting.
Great video. Great channel sir.
I've stayed up much too late recently watching your videos too many times. LOL
Thanks, I really appreciate it!
If only the mic cable was a type c It would have been epic af. I would have paid 10 more for a type c version.

I couldn't decide between 2 headphones. Kinera Wyvern Pro- Tangzu Wan'er. I will buy it for gaming and music. Which one would you recommend?
Check out the Celest Wyvern Abyss
@ thank you☺️

Which one is better this or Final vr2000.?

I haven't tried the Wan'er

Compared to Salnotes Zero, which one is better?
There's like a $100 difference
@@PrimeAudioReviews In Indonesia, the Kinera Celest is almost the same price, so please, which is better? Salnotes Zero or Kinera Celest Wyvern?
@ReynaLWjx oh I'm sorry, I thought you were talking about Phoenix Call. For music the Salnotes Zero. For gaming and music Wyvern Pro.
Has any one ever played cs 2 with this. Can it pinpoint the location of the enemy?
Is this 100%compatible w ps5?
I guess so.
How does this compare to simgot ew200 when it comes to fps games
This has better detail retrieval and arguably better imaging. If purely for gaming, I think this is the way to go.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Appreciate the response, wanted to collect some budget gaming iems and this one seems hit all the checks

Hey how about with simgot em6l ?
I've preordered truthear gate. But the Wyvern Pro looks like it has stronger build quality. Did I make a mistake buying truthear gate?
Yeah.
