This was lovely, guys. I grew up in Canberra (though I was born in Melbourne), but I left when I was 20 and don't think I've been back this century. My brother still lives in the 'family home' and you've made me ache to go back to my stomping ground. All those paths could have led you to some amazing places on a bicycle, as I rode them all once. But, now, I imagine the system of bike paths would blow my mind, after over a quarter of a century since I was last there. Thanks for this VLog. I need to go home, I think.
I come back to these Canberra videos once in a while. I grew up in Melbourne and moved to Canberra for uni and work so I always consider Canberra more of a home for me. I've since lived in Toronto for 2 years and now in North London. I always find myself wanting to move back to Canberra, and probably will soon.
Muscat wine is a desert wine. Usually drank after dinner. It's served in a smaller glass because generally, people don't drink as much of it as regular wine. It's much sweeter than the average wine.
Canberra looks lovely so different to what i was thought, definitely different to all the other places where you have been and lived etc. Also love the bee movie. The museums looked great. That breakfast looks really tasty and the food in the Italian. I have watched your videos since you were doing your gcses i am the same age birthday in january though i feel so proud you have come so far it has been amazing to see you grown as a person and in confidence. Happy travels for your next adventures. Xx
Canberra is great I don't know why people put it down ,most people miss some of the good stuff.Tidbinbilla tracking station is one of them.I always eat out at Manuka great restaurants, great stores,. Always spend about 3 days there , so much to see and if you have wheels you can take a day trip down to Bullocks Flats jump on the Ski train, takes you under the mountains to Perisher Valley, or go all the way to Mt Blue Cow and if you have the time walk up to the summit of Mt Kosciuszko . National gallery and the Portrait gallery are another must. Blue Poles of course and the Sydney Nolan Ned Kelly collection is stunning.
The New Parliament House is quite stunning. Designed by an American Architect and in keeping with the Aussie ethos that no-one is any better than anyone else, you can walk over the grass roof. The politicians aren't above the people.
@@MollyThompsonx_ when you do you can walk from Hobart centre along the Hobart Rivulet towards Cascade Brewery and you can sometimes see platypus in the river which is a really nice thing to do on a sunny day - i managed to see a couple when I was there in August x
Heyy Molly, really nice video, I was wondering if I can help you edit your videos better than this and also make highly engaging short. Btw love from India ♥️✨

Canberra is the most underrated city in Australia.

CANBERRA IS UNDERRATED.
Loved that! I actually do prefer a quite city to a very busy one sometimes, guess I have to put Canberra on my list😌

the fact it says the florida festival made me laugh after you then compared it to epcot 🤣🤣
The way I didn’t even realise this and I watched it so many times😅😅😅
@@MollyThompsonx_ iconic if you ask me
It seems quiet because Canberra actually has 5 town centres. The towns follow the valleys.
Hey Molly! Love your travel vids☺️ Did you think 24hr was enough for Canberra? Thinking of visiting soon
We stayed 1 night but I do definitely think we could have stayed 2, probably don't need toooo much longer though!!
@@MollyThompsonx_ cool to know. Thank youu :)

You cant compare the areas there is 314 square miles in Canberra way more land space , only 27 square miles in Hull UK thats why its more busy there
I rate Tom's Doritos top 😂👌
Hey Molly, I think another place a lot of people aren't sure which city is the capital is Brazil. I think everyone thinks it is Rio De Janiero xx
sooo true! this is such a good example of this hahaha
Nothing's wrong with Canberra
Melbourne was originally Australia's capital before Sydney had a sook about it 😂
