  • The description of single-particle motion under the influence of an external static and uniform magnetic field has been further explained in this lecture. An expression of the solution of the differential equation has been derived in terms of velocity components. A particle of plasma, under the influence of a uniform magnetic field, executes a circular motion in the plane perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field.
