I got this Luffy and like it a lot. It definitely has issues, but it looks great just walking past it in my room. I have that exact same problem with the figuarts Kaido too, getting those rocks on his cape is impossible
Hey! just followed you as i was looking into some OP figures, and found your youtube! What is your opinion on One Piece - Monkey D. Luffy - DXF Figure - The Grandline Series - Extra - Gear 5 (Bandai Spirits)?
yeah, he's my favorite gear 5 Luffy figure even with all the defects. I only really notice the little marks when I'm looking close at him. right now I just tried cleaning some of them off and was able to easily clean off the majority of the brown spot on the hair and the black on the hand, the other ones are more permanent though. hope you happen to get a good one!
@@Shirohigepopsman hopefully so. Giant figures like that one, Kaido, Whitebeard etc standout and really fit the scale of the collection I have. Which is your fav figure so far? Out of your entire One Piece collection.
I used a damp mr. clean magic eraser with a light amount of pressure to get the stains off, but it probably could have worked with just a damp towel. something to know if you haven't used a magic eraser before is that it will strip the paint off a figure, so they are risky to use. I could tell all the other flaws were too permanent so I just left them alone.
@jackthedrought113 I'll have to think on that one, my whole collection is a mess at the moment lol. maybe I'll make a top 10 favorites video once I get it under control
I stopped collecting Figuarts Zero due to their quality and "cheap" feel to them. I purchased the Red Roc Luffy and was so underwhelmed, and just decided to return it.
My luffy sash attaches to the cloud with no problem. Unlike yours, maybe you got the the defect one. 😢 they need to pay attention more on their qc.
Glad you got a good one! yeah I've seen multiple of these where the sash doesn't attach, and others where it does
Figuarts figures was good once a time, still good but i think Ichiban Kuji has the best sculptures nowdays

yeah I felt the same about the red roc luffy when I got mine. he went straight back into the box
