Johanna Parker products actually were scaled back by her not by HomeGoods, etc. She feels that selling her products in those types of stores are blemishing her artist status shall we say. It's a huge fat bummer and I'm not going to give my opinion's; I think that pretty much says it all lol. I'm not sure what's up with Rae Dunn, maybe she couldn't come up with anymore 2 liners that fit on dishware, pillows and hand towels sorry had to do it hehehe. I'm going to get dishware thrown at me for saying that, sorry. I love your Halloween series, but it is all of our favorite time of the year!!! Have a great October guys!!!!

Target worked with John Derian on a Thanksgiving collection this year like.... Why!!?!!??!!!! I wish he would have done another Halloween collection! 😢
I don’t understand the new John Derian Thanksgiving collection for Target. That’s just not as popular as a Halloween release. If anything, they should have done a Christmas collection with his folksy style, that would have been another hit.

Hey Jack! Love your vlogs for vlogoween! Where I live it is so hard to find ANY good Halloween items. … Except for Home Depot. This corner of the US is ultra religious and is Trump country. As a gay couple, it is very hard to exist here. I’m guessing that Halloween items just don’t sell here. 🤬 I end up getting my stuff from Mercari. I get all of my Witchcraft supplies from on line sellers as well. Also, I didn’t think anyone else loved Halloween Town as much as I do! 👻💀🖤🎃

I'm just not into the shiny sparkle Bath& Body does for Halloween. I did buy the skeleton peace sign picture and a plaid black and white lumbar pillow from Kirkland's. Walmart's in store Halloween movie dvd selection was bad this year compared to previous. The Jack Frost animatronic that Home Depot is putting out for Christmas is kind of spooky and cool. It's going to be a smoking hot item I think.

Interesting, JoAnn and At Home by me have completely doubled their prices for pretty much the same stuff I can get at Home Goods for waaay less. Guess it depends on which state you are in. In Michigan, everybody has been talking about the exorbitant prices at those two stores.
Ok, I actually have never shopped at Kirklands til I saw a few of their Halloween items this year. & I really liked it lol. I bought their dessert plates. They came in a set of 4 & had a different dancing skeleton on each one. I got it on sale for like $9-10.
I agreed with all your scary good rankings. But I'm crazy sad that my area barley got any of the product that they were supposed to or not at all. I really loved Joann's stuff 🖤
I haven’t been impressed by anything in my area this year, sadly! The selections are so little. I wanted the snake candle holders from target but couldn’t find them anywhere.
I wasn’t a fan of the bath and body works stuff either. Just got the ghost and skull pumpkin wallflower holders
I've been craving a pumpkin patch type thing and haven't done it yet this year, so it was satisfying seeing you go! I think my favorite items were some individual Michaels things, At Home and the Moonlit Graveyard items from B&BW. There was so much awesome stuff this year! I also hope Michaels switches up the "one romantic skeleton line and one oddities line" thing, but there were some individual great unique things like some of the witch items and the gothic metal pieces in the skeleton line. I didn't go to Home Depot but the vampire bat monster skeleton looked awesome too!
What about west elm? I loved their stuff this year because it’s usable all year round 🐍

I agree with Homegoods being mid tier. I feel like they need to update/upscale/improve the quality of their materials. Wicked bad Michael’s and Target collections were a major miss. Aside from repeat offenders, Michael’s quality is terrible and they try to charge Pottery Barn prices, lol. Scary good Home Depot for sure! Especially that bat skeleton! Also Joann! Im always excited to see Joann’s collections, especially their the one they do at the end of the season! And At Home, the raven lamp post was one of my only purchases along with Pottery Barn’s black terracotta jackolanterns.

I was disappointed in the lack of Halloween apparel this year. All stores were severely lacking in Halloween t-shirts and hoodies. I did get some cute things at Hot Topic and Boxed Lunch though. 🧡👻🖤🎃

I agree with you on the biggest part of your store Halloween grading for the stores. I will say, I was disappointed in Target...it all looked like cheap plastic everything. You didn't mention Kohls--- ughhh...the worse...and...stupid expensive for their Halloween decor. I won't go back into Kohl's they are so off the mainstream, on how people spend their hard earned money. Bath & Body Works are using the cheapest plastic. I have seen that brittle plastic used in the past. People better wrap those pieces up good cause it will break easily. Michael's allowing those pieces on Edgar Allan Poe should be ashamed of the actual statue type items they sold---to me, they okayed making more fun of Poe---not cool at all!---buy Poe's writings and set them out on display!
Oh.. and don't get me started on the actual words used for the Halloween season...like, "Boo" and..."Trick or Treat"
