Please also check The Farmers Band (Reggae Band) I highly recommend Sweet Caroline cover (ruclips.net/video/dQQ89XvhAeE/видео.html) and Beautiful Girl (ruclips.net/video/yUDYQxoQ-kQ/видео.html) ^_^
Me screaming Finally!!! You should check out their "Fix You" cover... I also suggest hopefully you can make a Philippines Reggae Special. You can start with the Filipino reggae legend Tropical Depression. You can add up Brownman Revival, Chocolate Factory and Kokoi Baldo and The farmers band.
They are from Pampanga here in PH. They had a regular gig here in a local bar before the pandemic. They are a great band and take requests from guests in the bar and they make it into reggae sometimes. I miss those days. Drinking beer while listening to them. ☺️
Tropical Depression was a popular reggae band in the Philippines in the 90's. You might want to check some of their songs. I suggest "Bilog na naman ang buwan". Pu3ska is a ska band from the 90's. You might like to check their song "Manila Girl". These are some of the awesome bands we watched in clubs and festivals during the 90's. I feel so old.😭😂
Can you guys check out SUD, a Filipino alt-soul band. They have music videos us fans called the "SUD Cinematic Universe"; it's a series of 5 of their songs starting from Sila (Them), Di Makatulog (Can't Sleep), Sana Bumalik (Hoping to Return), Baliw (Crazy/Lovesick), and their latest Sagutan (To Talk). Each music videos of their songs have a connected stories on its own so I hope you get to understand it and have the feels even if you don't understand every word. Thanks.
I like them! First time I saw them, really. But I've heard the song before....Anyway, for reggae, there was a '90s band called TROPICAL DEPRESSION that became a hit with "Bilog na Naman ang Buwan". There's the younger band BROWNMAN REVIVAL. Then there's KOKOI BALDO who impressed everyone in THE VOICE blind auditions. He's since recorded his own songs.
Reggae is popular in tourist destinations here in the Philippines given that there's plenty of beaches here.. but one of the most unpopular reggae but the BEST I've seen performed is the band TROPICAL DEPRESSION. Their song "bilog na naman ang buwan" is what made me appreciate reggae. They used to perform in small pub called Bside, with live DJs as well. We would go there every sunday cause sunday night is reggae night. Other nights, the place would turn into rap freestyle etc. They still operate until pandemic. Good old days. But yeah, check them out if you wanna listen more to filipino reggae.
Hi you guys!! ❤❤ Please react to Brownman Revival, a reggae band in The Philippines way back.. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. They had a myx live performance too! Can't wait to see it in your channel! Cheers from Saudi Arabia! ❤
At last! It's REGGAE time now, yah man!!! Told you so, you're gonna love PINOY REGGAE! As islanders, generally, Pinoys do love this kind of sound. There's also Visayan and other types of local Pinoy Reggae. More to watch, mates! Enjoy=)
Please react on KOKOI BALDO on The Voice Philippines, He is also a Peculiar reggae singer....He is a vocalist on Boracay beach here in the Philippines ..He sang ONE DAY, BILOG NA NAMAN ANG BUWAN,... PLease watch on his journey on The Voice Philippines....

CHOCOLAT FACTORY " beautiful scars" is a good one. Please check out it and also, BUGOY "let me love you" by J Boog is a real reggae on wish bus with drums, guitar. He has two original reggae songs on wish bus "air tonight" and "I don't want to go". These two songs are so underrated yet so so good. I love the way he sings the two songs. THE FARMER BAND "could you be loved " superb!!! They also a reggae band

I miss local radio, they're the biggest supporters of local reggae artists. Reggae was big in our region. Waray Reggae is a whole genre.
