Hello Jamlaw; I enjoyed your Dancespot Reel - Version 2. Question, can I use video from 57 seconds to roughly 18 seconds for a song that I co-wrote, the track was becoming a Dance Club hit in London, mid '70s, the label then rolled all the low end off in the mastering, needless to say, it didn't work on the Dance floor after; although today it seems to be coming back, I'm guessing about 15 years back, it was remastered, placed on a bootleg or two, now I see it at the BBC (film Director Edgar Wright played in on BBC, Radio 6), now I'm finding video from DJs, etc. In any event, I planning to make short segments (the Chorus section, or the lead Guitar break), roughly 12 seconds to help promote the track. I apologize to for writing to you in this manner, I don't see a address in the "about" section. Please drop me a line, say hello! Cordially, Lou P.S. Hi, that's my grandfather! What a fun story you got to meet him and Julie. I don't exactly know which clip you mean (57 to 18? wouldn't it be the other way around?) In any case, I certainly don't mind. This was footage I edited taken by someone else. I can't imagine they'd mind, either. But if you have any ability to give credit, i would do so as "Studio A" dance studio in Silverlake. Once you edit together your segments, I hope you post on RUclips and please let me know! I'd love to see it. I also love Edgar Wright, so that's fun to read. Thanks!
