I've seen Hawkwind umpteen times over the years, the second time I saw them was their best ever gig, Thd Space Ritual in 1972, absolutely mind blowing. Those mighty days are now long gone sadly but I thought this gig at Truro was pretty respectable with Dave the only original member.
I was only 9 years old in 1972 so i missed that concert but i have seen them about 20 times. The Lemmy era was easily their best work and the Chronicle of the Black Sword tour was great. But since Ron Tree left they have declined badly.
my body is too old to get wrecked any more ... all is lost.. what is lost is never gained again... down the corridor of pain (or is that 'flame'?).. back to the never ending journey I suppose.. oh well.. Na,Na,Na,,Na,Na, ... na,,na,,na,na,na....,na,na,na :II...... thats it folks
Very good!! I've been following them since 1995, and the last concert I saw in Italy in September 2022 was one of the best. I would like to go back to the RAH but it's been a long time...I was there in 2019, I'd rather be there to celebrate the Space Ritual, and it's 1000 times better A. Brown as opening act than the BHO
a masterpiece of Rock Prog ! The best of Hawkwind !
I first saw them at The Flamingo in Pool way back in 1971, it wAs the first time Stacia danced topless with them!
It was an awesome gig!! So happy to see these videos 👌
